Karen M. Neuenschwander, age 75, of Gratiot, WI, passed away, Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI, surrounded by her family. She was born October 14, 1938 at her family's home in Argyle, WI, the daughter of Harlow and Lillian (Everson) Johnson. Karen graduated from Argyle High School in 1956. She lived in the Argyle area, where she worked at Rossings Clothing Store. In 1966, she began working at Advance Transformer in Monroe, WI, until her retirement in 2002.

Karen is survived by three daughters: Vicki (Tim) Krenz of Blanchardville, WI, Jennifer (Jimmy Wilson) Paulson of Kaukauna, WI, and Kara (Sam) Stietz of Gratiot; six grandchildren: Thomas Krenz, Kassy, Kurtis, and Seth Paulson, and Tia and Clayton Stietz; one brother: Phillip (Sue) Johnson of Argyle; one sister: Christine Ludwig of Albany, WI; one aunt: Marion Jorgenson of Wiota, WI; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother: Roger Johnson.

Karen was a member of Apple Grove Lutheran Church in rural Argyle. She was an avid Brett Favre fan. Karen enjoyed NASCAR, her favorite driver was Matt Kenseth. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 3:00 p.m. at Apple Grove Lutheran Church, 14501 Apple Grove Church Road in rural Argyle with Rev. Christopher Schmidt of The Potter's House UPCI of Monroe. Burial will be in Apple Grove Cemetery at a later date. A visitation will be held Friday, October 18, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erickson Funeral Home, 508 Main Street in Darlington.
