Joseph (Joey) Anthony Stehura, age 27 of Madison/Monroe passed away on Saturday, July 5 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. He was born on July, 3, 1987 in Aurora, Colorado, the son of Ann (Stehura) Koschkee. Joey graduated from Monroe High School. He was currently employed by LFC Construction of Verona, WI. Prior to that he was a manager within the Pizza Hut organization of Madison, where he was also still employed. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends, his love of golf, fishing and being in the great outdoors. He loved country music, especially Johnny Cash.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Ann (Larry) Koschkee of Monroe; his sister, Katee Koschkee of San Antonio, TX, a step-sister, Sherri Koschkee of Greenfield, WI; and all of his special aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anthony (Blackie) and Mary Stehura of Lancaster, WI.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, July 11, 2014 at Shriner Hager Gohlke funeral home, Monroe with Fr. Larry Bakke presiding. A visitation will be held Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
