Joan M. Blim, nee O'Meara, 93, of Northbrook, IL. Beloved wife for 64 years of Thomas J. Blim; loving mother of Nancy (Chris) Young; cherished grandmother of Caitlin and Erin Young; dear sister of Gene (late Phyllis) O'Meara, the late Virginia (Al) Hunt and Gerry (Jack) McGonigle; special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Joan was born and raised in Monroe. She graduated from Monroe High School and attended Rockford Community College. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 9:30am until time of the Mass 10:30am at St. Norbert Church, 1809 Walters Ave., Northbrook, IL. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery.
