James M. Hein, age 64, of Monroe, Wisconsin died Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI. He was born October 10, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Melvin and Roen (McCarthy) Hein. James graduated from Milwaukee Custer High School in 1965 and received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. James and Jeanne Minikel were married August 10, 1968 in Milwaukee, WI. James was a dedicated High School Social Studies Teacher for over 30 years at Juda High School. Two of his other passions were coaching wrestling and officiating girls' high school volleyball.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanne Hein of Monroe, WI; his daughter, Carrie Hein-Paredes (César) of Waukesha, WI and his son Curtis J. (Angela) Hein of Chicago, IL; his grandson, Alejandro Antonio "Tony Paredes and granddaughter, Laura Grace Hein; and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home 1455 Mansion Drive in Monroe with Rev. David Busker officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday and from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at noon on Saturday at the funeral home.
