On March 1:

● At 9:02 a.m., Deputies responded to the W3000 block of CTH F, in the Town of Mt. Pleasant, for a reported bond condition violation. The investigation resulted in Dalton A. Lehr, 56, of Monticello, being placed under arrest for Bail Jumping (felony). Lehr was later transported to the Green County Jail pending court. 

● At 1:26 p.m., Deputies, Browntown Fire, and Browntown First Response responded to the W7800 block of Smock Valley Rd., in the Town of Jordan, for a single vehicle crash. The investigation found that the driver, Kelly R. Hill, 62, of Monroe, was traveling westbound when she swerved to avoid a deer.  Hill then traveling into the south ditch to an embankment where she collided with a tree.  Hill advised she was uninjured and wearing her seatbelt. Hill’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with no airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. 

On March 9:

● At approximately 2:53 p.m., Deputies responded to the N1600 block of Haddinger Rd, Town of Clarno, for a report of a single vehicle accident. Investigations found the driver, Wyatt T Steiner, 16, of Juda was southbound on Haddinger Rd when he reported mechanical trouble with his vehicle. As a result, Steiner struck a mailbox. Steiner reported no injuries, reported wearing his seatbelt, and no airbag deployment. Vehicle was driven from the scene.

● At approximately 4:47 p.m., Deputies responded to the W8700 block of County H, Town of York, for a single vehicle accident. Investigations found that Mario A Silva De La O, 18, of Janesville, was westbound on County H when a deer entered the roadway causing Silva De La O to swerve. Silva De La O entered the north ditch and traveled down an embankment where it struck a tree. Silva De La O denied injury, reported wearing his seatbelt, and there was airbag deployment. Silva De La O’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

On March 11:

● At 7:50 a.m., Deputies responded to the N3100 block of STH 69, in the Town of Washington, for a reported two vehicle crash. The investigation found that Raymond D. Belke, 35, of Monroe, was traveling northbound attempting to pass Jayden P. Diaz-Barnett, 26, of Monroe. In the process Diaz-Barnett was merging into the lane Belke was traveling in resulting in him striking Diaz-Barnett’s vehicle. Diaz-Barnett and Belke advised they were wearing their seatbelts and uninjured. Diaz-Barnett’s and Belke’s vehicle both sustained minor damage with no airbag deployment. Belke was later cited for Unsafe Passing and Failure to Report a Crash to Law Enforcement pending a future court date.  

● At 1:57 p.m., Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding in the N4600 block of STH 104, in the Town of Decatur. The investigation resulted in the driver, Precious M. Oller, 47, of Brodhead, being cited for Operating After Revocation (due to an alcohol offense) and Speeding. Oller was released pending court.

● At 4:47 p.m., Deputies responded to the N5000 block of Skinner Hollow Rd, in the Town of Adams, for a reported single vehicle crash. The investigation found that the driver, Victor W. Paske, 53, of Monroe, was traveling northbound when he fell asleep and entered the ditch. Paske’s vehicle then overturned and then came to a rest. Paske advised he was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured. Paske’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
