Grace May Behring

Grace May Behring, 80, of Edgerton, formerly of Monroe, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2013, at the Stoughton Hospital, with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 4, 1933, in Albany, WI, daughter of the late Werner and Edna (Ringhand) Hauri. She was united in marriage to Charles Behring, on December 7, 1949, in Broadhead, WI. He preceded her in death on September 13, 2000. Grace was a member of the United Church of Christ, Edgerton.

Grace had worked at Oaktron / MTX, in Monroe, for more than 35 years, until her retirement. She enjoyed watching birds, camping and was an avid shopper on QVC. She loved her Ipad and stayed connected to her family through Facebook and FaceTime. Her special love was spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family.

She is survived by four sons, James Behring of Newport News, VA, Dan (Kelly) Behring of Monroe, Rick (Tanna) Behring of Fayetteville, AR and Gary (Mary Lou) Behring of Edgerton; ten grandchildren, Tammy (Glen Osvold) Behring, Chris (Rebecca) Behring both of VA, Rick (Erin) Behring Jr. of AR, Brandon (Joy) Behring of Neenah, WI, Steven Behring of Milwaukee, WI, Jeff (Lindsey) Behring of Edgerton, Rachel Rosenbaum of FL, Sarah (Robbie) Lanham of Edgerton, Renee (Blake Crumbliss) Rosenbaum of Janesville and Robyn (Tyler) Davis of Edgerton; sixteen great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Selma, Esther, Louise and Dorothy; and one brother, Erwin.

A Memorial service will be held at 5 p.m., on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at the United Church of Christ, Edgerton, with the Rev. Lora Whitten officiating. Friends may call on Saturday, at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of the service. In Lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to Agrace Hospice or the United Church of Christ. The EHLERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES is assisting the family.
