Gladys C. Schneeberger, age 90 of Brodhead, Wisconsin formerly of Albany, died Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Valley Park in Albany. She was born December 16, 1921 in Albany, the daughter of Joseph and S. Bertha (Rhyner) Blumer, and attended Albany Schools.

Gladys and William Schneeberger were married on October 17, 1937 at the Little Brown Church in the Vale at Nashua, IA. She was a member of Zwingli United Church of Christ, was Owner/Operator of Center Tavern in Albany & Rock City Tap, and worked at The Swiss Colony in Monroe until retiring in December of 2001.

Surviving are her children, Eileen (Walter) Althaus of Albany, WI, Robert W. (Kathy) Schneeberger of Raymore, MO, Joan (Willie) Flood of Brodhead, WI, Roger (LaVonne) Schneeberger of Oregon, WI, Eugene (Romaine) Schneeberger of Janesville, WI, Warren (Julie) Schneeberger of Browntown, WI, & Kathy Naber of Versailles, KY; brother, Kenneth (June) Blumer of Albany, WI; sister, Dolores (Robert) Schumacher of Evansville, WI; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband; son, Fred Schneeberger; brothers, Clarence & Burnett Blumer; grandson, Geno Schneeberger; and son-in-law, Michael "Mick" Naber.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, 1455 Mansion Drive & N. 18th Avenue in Monroe.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 15, 2012 at Zwingli United Church of Christ in Monticello with Rev. Lawrence Balleine officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Albany.

A Memorial Fund is being established in Gladys' memory in lieu of flowers.
