Georgiann M. Baker, age 65, of Monroe, Wisconsin, died on Thursday, April 8, 2010, at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born on August 6, 1944, in New York, the daughter of Ludwig and Mary (Volkawich) Staber. Georgiann and Maurice "Red" Baker were married on October 25, 1969. She retired from Pick'N Save store.
Surviving are her son, Paul (Heather) Baker; brothers, Robert, Frank, and Richard Staber; sisters, Cecelia Moore and Geraldine Nolte; and 3 grandchildren, Daniel, Trent, Chesney Baker, also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice Baker and brother, Lawrence.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
