Frieda M. Krier, age 86 of Monroe, died on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born on January 9, 1924, the daughter of Emil and Sophia (Derendinger) Sutter. Frieda and Gustave Krier were married on September 24, 1950, at St. John's United Church of Christ. Frieda farmed with her husband on the family farm, in Washington Township, Green County. She is a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Nancy Krier; granddaughters, Amanda and Jessica Krier, all of the Monroe area. She is predeceased by her parents; husband and son, Kirk in 2009.

Per her wishes, private family services will be held at a later date. Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
