MONROE — A former Green County man is accused of seven felony counts related to the alleged sexual assault of a teen in 2020.

According to a lengthy criminal complaint filed in Green County Circuit Court last month, Julian Hoosier Fullbright, 19, allegedly committed the offenses between April and September of 2020. Fullbright’s most recent address was listed as being in Fitchburg.

The Monroe Times does not name the victims of sexual assault nor does it identify minor victims of any crimes.

The charges he faces include one count each of:

● Exposing a child to harmful material, a Class I Felony punishable by up to three years and six months in prison

● Causing a Child to View/listen to sexual activity, a Class H Felony punishable by up to six years in prison

● Attempted possession of child pornography, a Class D Felony punishable by up to 12 years and six months in prison

● Exposing genitals, a Class I Felony, punishable by up to three years and six months in prison

● Sexual Assault of a child under 16, a Class C felony punishable by up to 40 years in prison

In addition, Fullbright is charged with two counts of attempted sexual assault of a child under 16, a Class C Felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison. Moreover, each charge also carries a substantial fine; and if convicted Fullbright would likely have to register as a sex offender, potentially for life, upon release.

Fullbright’s bond status remains unclear. Green County District Attorney Craig Nolen declined to comment on the investigation and charges contained in the complaint. Attempts to reach the Green County Sheriff’s Dept. for comment also were unsuccessful, although a representative at the jail Thursday said Fullbright was not in custody.

The case originated following an investigation by a Green County Human Services social worker and detectives from the Green County Sheriff’s Dept., according to the complaint.

Fullbright, meanwhile, is scheduled to appear in court at 1:15 p.m. on Dec. 13, according to online court records.
