Monroe Police

MONROE - An ambulance was dispatched:

• At 11:26 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, to the 300 block of 25th Avenue.

• At 1:49 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, to the 1400 block of 9th Avenue.

• At 7:11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, to the 1200 block of 22nd Street.

• At 2:28 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, to the 800 block of 22nd Avenue.

• At 5:45 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, to the 1400 block of 14th Street.



Police assisted the Monroe Fire Department with calls:

• At 7:50 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, for a fire alarm accidentally pulled by a child at Monroe Clinic, 2005 5th St.

• At 5:43 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, for a fire alarm at Aster Retirement Community, 616 8th Ave. There was no evidence of fire.

• At 2:02 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, for a smoke detector that went off when a resident burned food on a stovetop in an apartment in the 2700 block of 8th 1/2 Street. Firefighters helped ventilate the apartment.

• At 3:06 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, for a fire alarm at a residence in the 2500 block of 10th Street. Officers didn't see a fire.

NEW GLARUS - Police assisted New Glarus Area EMS with calls within the village:

• At 2:49 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10.

• At 8:29 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14.

• At 9:21 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14.

DARLINGTON - Rural Medical Ambulance responded to Wildcat Lane in the Town of Darlington at 1:48 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14.

• Argyle Ambulance responded to South Lafayette Street in Argyle at 5:59 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14.

• Rural Medical Ambulance responded to Fort Defiance Road in the Town of Fayette at 9:13 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14.

• Rural Medical Ambulance responded to Wisconsin 81 in the Town of Darlington at 2:52 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14.

• The Darlington Fire Department responded to a power pole on fire on County D in the Town of Fayette at 3:47 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15.

• Shullsburg Ambulance responded to Carnak Clun in Shullsburg at 9:12 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 16.
