Edward R. Vetterli Sr., age 78, of Monroe, died on Monday, February 13, 2012 at his home. He was born on May 28, 1933, in Chicago, the son of Edward Robert and Marjorie Vivian (Waters) Vetterli. He attended Murray State University in Kentucky. Edward was previously married to Darlene Staulkup and Patricia Sell; he later married Linda Warren on February 28, 1981 in Elverta, CA. Ed retired from the Sacramento Municipal Utility District in 1995. He attended the Martintown Community Church.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Jane Vetterli; children, Edward Robert Vetterli, Jr., Mark Bryan (Brenda) Vetterli, John Anton Vetterli, Pamela Jean (Anthony) Viglione, Christina Lynn Vetterli, Katherine Louisa Vetterli; sister, Bonnie Jean Mosely; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Martintown Community Church, Martintown, WI, with Pastor Kevin Cernek officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday, from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may go to Monroe Clinic Hospice or Hand in Hand Adult Daycare, through the Aging & Disability Resource Center.
