Douglas F. Murray, age 48 of Monroe, died on Friday, November 30, 2012 in Monroe. He was born on October 10, 1964 in Hazel Green, WI, the son of Pat and Nancy (Driscoll) Murray. He was a graduate of Cuba City High School. Doug was a Vice President with Murray and Sons Transportation Company. He was an avid sports fan, especially following all Notre Dame sports. Doug also enjoyed fishing, but most of all his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family, especially his sons.

He is the loving father of his sons, Ben and Cole Murray of Monroe; also surviving are his parents, Pat and Nancy Murray of Cuba City; siblings, Vicki (Al) Bolz of Monroe, Greg (Chris) Murray of Monroe, Timothy (Kristi) Murray of Waunakee, Fern (Doran) Steiner of Monroe; also numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his grandparents and a brother, Kendall Murray.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, 1455 Mansion Dr., Monroe, and on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Casey Funeral Home, 123 N. Jackson St., Cuba City. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. following visitation, with Fr. David Flanagan Officiating, of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Inurnment will be in the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery in Cuba City.
