Merlin P. Rod, 73, formerly of Monroe, died Friday, Nov. 5, 2010. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
