EVANSVILLE - David W. Farrey, 57, of Evansville, Wisconsin, formerly of Benton, Wisconsin, died Friday, February 5, 2010, at the Don & Marilyn Anderson Hospice Center in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Mike Figi officiating. Burial will be in the Primitive Methodist Cemetery in Benton. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and after 8:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at the funeral home.

David was born on September 21, 1952, in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, the son of Richard and Alice (Boldt) Farrey. He married Debra Oyer on June 8, 1996, in Blue Mounds, Wisconsin. David worked as a maintenance technician for Dean Health Care System in Madison.

David loved to hunt, fish, garden, and restore his 9 N Ford Tractor.

Survivors include his wife, Deb, of Evansville; his children, Kristi Wiegel, of Madison, Kari (Mike Moore) Wiegel, of Shullsburg, Kelli (Chad) Frutiger, of Edgerton, Craig (Callie Strickland) Farrey, of Madison, and Tom (Wendy) Karow, of DeForest; two grandchildren, Bethany and Natalie Moore, of Shullsburg; his brothers and sisters, Richard (Carol), of Long Grove, Iowa, Debbie (Bob) Golackson, Don, Doreen (Dick) Weiler, and Denny (Brenda) all of Monroe, and Doug (Sue), of Shullsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Alice Farrey, and two infant children, Theresa and David.

The family would like to thank Hospice Care of Janesville who cared for David the past few months.
