David P. Tullis

David P. Tullis, age 48, of Monroe, died on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at his home. He is the son of Charles R. and Margaret (Vadinsky) Tullis. He attended Monroe Schools. David worked with his father at Tullis Maintenance and for a time at Bruni-Miller Company. He was very active with Habitat for Humanity, the American Legion and the March of Dimes. He was in the U.S. Army from 1980 to 1981 and was discharged as a Private E-2.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret Tullis; former wife, Alvina Klentz & children, Christopher Tullis, Randall (Kira) Tullis, & Crystal Tullis; former wife, Pamela LaBudde & daughter, Amanda Tullis; grandchildren, Allyson and Keegan Tullis; siblings, Thomas (Shirley) Tullis, Linda (Edward) Dyer, Nancy (Rene) Hendrickson, Karen (Donald) Rothenbach, James (Victoria) Tullis, Timothy (Mary) Tullis, Catherine (Greg) Grey, Richard Tullis; special friend, Michelle Daehlin, also several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Tullis.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home in Monroe with Pastor Gene McIntosh officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until time of service at 6:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.

A Memorial Fund is being established in David's memory in lieu of flowers.
