Felonies
- William L. Thomas, 30, Monroe, was found guilty on Oct. 20 of breaking conditions of his probation. On June 26, 2008, he was found guilty of failure to support a child over 120 days, a class I felony. Court records indicate that he failed to pay financial obligations ordered as a condition of probation. He was sentenced to 11 months in jail with work release and fined $180.
- Mary L. Davidson, 44, Brodhead, was found guilty on Oct. 24 after pleading no contest to theft under $2,500 of a business setting, a class A misdemeanor; theft between $2,500 and $5,000 of a business setting, a class I felony; and theft between $5,000 and $10,000, a class H felony. Davidson's case was a deferred prosecution case, where she is to follow the prosecution agreement, which includes undergoing any assessments and recommended counseling as required by her probation agent. Court records indicate that Davidson intended to convert money owned by the City of Brodhead Park and Recreation Department's Summer Youth Ball Program to her own use by depositing the entire amount of money into her personal checking without the consent of the director of the Summer Youth Ball Program. She was sentenced to 24 months probation for the misdemeanor count and the class I felony and was fined $317.
- Christopher C. Green, 22, Monroe, was found guilty on Oct. 24 after pleading no contest to possession of THC, an unclassified misdemeanor, stemming from a July 1 incident. Court records indicate that Green had THC in the amount of about 62 grams of marijuana. Green's case was a deferred prosecution case, where he is to follow the prosecution agreement, which includes not further violating laws. He was fined $163.

- William H. Harmon III, 40, Monroe, was found guilty on Oct. 24, after pleading no contest to a charge of disorderly conduct, an unclassified forfeiture, stemming from a June 10 incident. Harmon was fined $267.50.
- Ashley H. Klapper, 22, Monroe, was found guilty on Oct. 25, after pleading no contest to a charge of possession of THC in the form of marijuana, stemming from a March 18 incident. She was fined $267.
