Green County Felonies>

• The court Friday scheduled a May 20 district attorney conference for Jerry A. Thompson, 44, Grayslake, Ill., who pleaded not guilty to three counts of failure to support a child.

Court records allege he failed to pay child support between Jan. 1, 2005, and Oct. 31, 2006, for a child born in 2004.

He is charged with three counts of failure to pay child support, all class I felonies. He faces more than 10 years in prison and up to $30,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $5,000 signature bond.

• The court Friday scheduled a July 1 district attorney conference for Robert L. Short, 27, Baileyville, Ill., who pleaded not guilty to drug charges.

Court records allege he had cocaine and marijuana in his possession April 13 at Monroe Clinic. He was convicted of manufacture/deliver cocaine in Stephenson County in Illinois.

He is charged with possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana, both class I felonies. He faces up to seven years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $5,000 signature bond.

• The court Friday scheduled a July 1 district attorney conference for Kent R. Johnson, 24, Blanchardville, who pleaded not guilty to identity theft and obstructing an officer.

Court records allege he gave a state trooper false information to avoid a fine.

He is charged with identity theft, a class H felony, and obstructing an officer, a class A misdemeanor. He faces more than six years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $2,000 signature bond.

• The court Friday scheduled a June 17 district attorney conference for Kyle M. Ramos, 17, Freeport, who pleaded not guilty to two counts of driving a vehicle without the owner's consent.

Court records allege he drove two snowmobiles without permission Dec. 30 or Dec. 31 in Monroe.

He is charged with two counts of driving a vehicle without the owner's consent, both class H felonies. He faces up to 12 years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $5,000 signature bond.
