The court Thursday sentenced Benjamin A. Harder, 20, Monroe, to 20 days in jail after he pleaded no contest to possession of a narcotic drug.
He faced more than three years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines as part of the plea agreement for the class I felony.
Court records indicate he had two narcotic pills in his possession Nov. 18 in Monroe.
In a second case, the court sentenced Harder to 10 days in jail, with one day credit, after he pleaded no contest to possession of marijuana. The 10 days are consecutive with the first case.
He faced up to six months in jail and up to $10,000 in fines as part of the plea agreement for the unclassified misdemeanor.
Court records indicate he had about 25 grams of marijuana in his possession Nov. 18 in Monroe.
