Vicky L. Hayden, 36, Monroe, was found guilty due to a no contest plea of fleeing police in a vehicle from Monroe to Town of Clarno. Hayden lead police and sheriff's deputies on a high speed chase in her bronze Pontiac from 4th Avenue West near 17th Street on to Bethel Road towards Town of Clarno. A detective attempted to stop Hayden for questioning in an ongoing case when she fled. Officers quit the pursuit after about four miles since they had her plate numbers. She was later picked up by Stephenson County Sheriff's deputies. Hayden was sentenced to 30 days in jail and her driver's license is revoked for six months. She also owes the court $906.
