FELONIES
- Roger W. Uphoff, 64, Oregon, was sentenced Thursday, June 28, to six years in prison, two years of extended supervision and three years of probation on felony convictions of not paying child support for more than four months in 2003 and jumping bail in 2006. Court records indicate Uphoff didn't pay child support for two children, now ages 20 and 16, and failed to appear at a preliminary hearing in January 2006.
- Joanna J. Ace, 34, Monroe, faces Class E felony charges filed Thursday, June 28, of manufacturing/delivering narcotics. According to the criminal complaint, she sold prescription painkillers from her home in the 2100 block of 15th Avenue to a confidential source working with an agent from the State Line Area Narcotics Team (SLANT). The agent reported that Ace sold an 80-milligram tablet of Oxycontin for $50 on Feb. 15 and four 15-milligram tablets of Oxycodone for $60 on Feb. 27.
MISDEMEANORS
- Patrick Joseph Allen, 19, Argyle, pleaded no contest Thursday, June 28, to a Class A misdemeanor charge of bail jumping. He was sentenced to five days in jail with Huber Law work release privileges and fined $243. Police records indicate he was arrested June 10 in Monroe for violating a bond condition from a previous arrest that he not have contact with anyone under the age of 18.
