Green County Felonies

• The court Friday scheduled an Oct. 7 district attorney conference for Chester J. Preston, 36, Mazomanie, who pleaded not guilty to threatening to blow up the Green County Courthouse and injure employees in the child support office.

Court records allege he told an employee over the phone Oct. 19 that if he lost his driver's license, he would blow her up. He allegedly called back and threatened to blow up the building.

He is charged with threatening an agent of the Department of Workforce Development and threatening to injure the employee, both class H felonies, and calling in a bomb scare, a class I felony. He faces more than 15 years in prison and up to $30,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $3,000 signature bond.

• The court Friday scheduled an Oct. 7 district attorney conference for Robert M. Peters, 43, Burlington, who pleaded not guilty to drunken driving, fifth-offense or greater.

Court records allege he was driving while intoxicated when arrested Aug. 1 in Decatur township.

He is charged with drunken driving, fifth-offense or greater and driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, fifth-offense or greater, both class H felonies. He faces up to 12 years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $2,500 signature bond.

• The court Friday scheduled an Oct. 7 district attorney conference for Tyler J. Esse, 27, Browntown, who pleaded not guilty to drug charges.

Court records allege he had a marijuana plant in his bedroom window, had 9 grams of marijuana in three plastic bags, had 2 grams of cocaine and drug pipes in his possession June 22 in Monroe.

He is charged with possession with intent to deliver/manufacture marijuana, a class I felony, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, all unclassified misdemeanors. He faces more than five years in prison and up to $12,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $2,500 signature bond.

• The court Friday scheduled an Oct. 7 district attorney conference for Timothy J. Hicks, 21, Brodhead, who pleaded not guilty to substantial battery and disorderly conduct.

Court records allege he hit and kicked a man in the face Aug. 2 in Brodhead. The man sustained broken bones in his face.

He is charged with substantial battery, a class I felony, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces more than three years in prison and up to $11,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $10,000 signature bond.

• The court Friday scheduled an Oct. 7 district attorney conference for Valentine Gandarilla, 21, Brodhead, who pleaded not guilty to substantial battery and disorderly conduct.

Court records allege he hit and kicked a man in the face Aug. 2 in Brodhead. The man sustained broken bones in his face.

He is charged with substantial battery, a class I felony, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces more than three years in prison and up to $11,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $10,000 signature bond.
