FELONIES

• Kyle Edwin Gille, 20, Darlington, was charged Aug. 1 with a Class F felony count of possessing cocaine with intent to deliver and a misdemeanor count of possessing drug paraphernalia. The charges stem from an incident July 22 when police received an anonymous tip that Gille was transporting cocaine from Argyle to Darlington. When police stopped Gille in the 12000 block of Roller Coaster Road, Town of Darlington, they found 4.5 grams of cocaine in his possession, along with several items for the consumption of narcotics. Gille said he was planning to sell the cocaine in order to pay for a friend's bail. Gille will appear in court for a preliminary hearing Aug. 19.

• Daniel Gane Findley, 37, Benton, was charged late July with a Class I felony count of failure to provide child support, after he failed to issue child support payments between Feb. 13 and June 27. Findley has been required to provide weekly child support payments since 2008. A warrant was filed for Findley's arrest July 21; he has not yet been apprehended.

• Emily Ann Skattum, 32, Cuba City, was charged July 21 with a Class H felony count of driving while intoxicated, her fourth such charge within five years. Skattum was apprehended July 19 on Wisconsin 11, Town of Gratiot. Police found a significant amount of prescription narcotics inside Skattum's vehicle. Skattum's last OWI conviction came in 2013 in Green County, whereupon she was sentenced to 14 days in jail and fined $1,424. She will appear in court for her preliminary hearing Aug. 29.

• Young Donvan Arnold, 45, Shullsburg, was charged July 19 with two counts of felony bail jumping, two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping and disorderly conduct. The charges arose after Arnold was involved in a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 26000 block of County W, Town of New Diggings July 3. Arnold allegedly threatened to kill a woman there and attempted to violently seize her. These actions violated his bonds from two other domestic abuse cases from earlier in the year, which prohibited any contact between Arnold and the victim. Arnold's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 19.

• Breanna Danette Becker, 21, Platteville, was charged July 18 with felony bail jumping, possessing drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct. Becker's charges stem from an incident April 3 in the 100 block of East Liberty Street in Belmont. Becker visited the home of her mother, who was caring for Becker's son, and attempted to steal the child and flee the home. When she was thwarted, Becker became upset and repeatedly screamed at her mother. When police arrived on scene, they found several baggies and containers in Becker's car that contained traces of what was determined to be methamphetamine. Becker is scheduled to have her initial appearance Aug. 15.
