Catherine L. Nybroten, age 76 of Monroe, WI passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at her home. She had battled with COPD for the past 20 years. Catherine was born on May 20, 1940 in Prim Rose Township, Dane County the daughter of Herman and Maude (Hewitt) Rindy. Catherine graduated from Mount Horeb High School. She married Glenn Delano Nybroten on November 20, 1965 at St. Ignacious Catholic Church in Mount Horeb, WI. Catherine and Glenn were married for 50 wonderful years. She grew up in the country around Prim Rose Township. Catherine was a dedicated employee of the Carnes Company for 38 years. Following their marriage, Catherine and Glenn moved to Verona WI where they lived for 36 years and later retired to Monroe.

Catherine is survived by her husband: Glenn of Monroe and one brother: Thomas Rindy of Waunakee, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister: Elizabeth Kramer; two brothers: Richard Rindy Sr. and Larry Rindy.

Catherine and Glenn shared many road trips together out West and two very memorable trips to Hawaii. She enjoyed sewing and playing cards online. Catherine was computer savvy and would spend hours working and playing on the latest technology. Catherine will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her friends and family.

Funeral services for Catherine will he held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Adams Lutheran Church (N7148 County Rd A, Adams Township) with Pastor Joseph O'Donnell officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Church. Burial will be at the Adams Cemetery. The Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Catherine's name.
