"Candy" age 66 passed away on Friday March 1st 2013 at Agrace Hospice Care. Candy was born Candace Katherine Cox on June 18, 1946 and raised in Janesville, WI. She and her husband John W. Lawrence raised their three beautiful children and spoiled 12 lucky grandchildren in rural Albany, WI where they have lived for the past 33 years. Candy's passion for life and love for others allowed her to be a Registered Nurse for most of her life. Later in life her blessed heart and giving soul made her an incredibly compassionate Hospice/ palliative care nurse, guiding and comforting so many in their last moments of life. Candy had a true understanding of life and death that helped so many families and now her own, cope with such devastating loss. Candy had many passions in life including working in her beautiful flower gardens, crocheting, hunting mushrooms, golfing, hunting golf balls and vacationing in Cancun every year with her family and friends. Candy had a strong personal relationship with God which helped her to be the most loving and compassionate leader to her family, her greatest passion of all. She is leaving behind her husband John W. Lawrence, her three children Marian Pfeuti (Scot), Melissa Chicker, and Doug Lawrence, her grandchildren Katie, John, Brad, and Kelly Anderson; Ben, Sam, Hallie, Alecia, and Max Chicker; Nathan and Kalyn Lawrence; and Rahfi Pfeuti and countless other family members and friends.

The memories and love she left with us will always be on our minds and in our hearts.

Mom, you are loved and will forever be missed.

A celebration of Candy's life will be held at the Grace Church 416 2nd St. New Glarus, WI 53574 on Saturday March 9th beginning at 1:00 with a memorial service at 2:00 and luncheon to follow.
