Brenda L. Coplien "Asenath Jerilyn" age 52, passed away suddenly Sunday, December 19, 2010. She was born on July 25, 1958 in Monroe, the daughter of Jerry and Judith (Huber) Coplien. She graduated from Monroe High School and was selected into Who's Who of American Students for academic honors. She later graduated from the University of Wisconsin and was a huge supporter of the Wisconsin Badgers.

Asenath "Brenda" worked at various careers throughout her life including insurance, Phlebotomist, Real Estate appraiser, Licensed Real Estate Broker, Retail Management, and Substitute Teacher in South Wayne. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church. Those that knew her, had always known that she had a large generous heart and constantly reached out to help those in need.

She is survived by her son, Eric Vordermann; daughter, Stevie Rae Vordermann, a granddaughter, Janessa Johnson; step-son, Trevor Vordermann; her mother, Judith L. Coplien; a brother, Gerald (Lori) Coplien; along with many nieces and nephews who affectionately knew her as "Aunt Brenda".

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry I. Coplien in, step-son, Shaun Vordermann, and grandparents Nathan and Helen Coplien, Jacob and Lucille Huber.

A Celebaration of Life will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke funeral home.
