Beulah B. McCue, age 89, of Monroe, died on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at her Friedensheim Assisted Living. She was born in Jordan Township, September 22, 1921, to Randall and Cora (Gordee) Hanson. She attended rural Grove School and graduated from Monroe High School in 1939. She managed the catalog office at Montgomery Ward for several years, then worked in the purchasing Dept. at The Swiss Colony and as a record clerk and bookkeeper at the Green County Sheriff's Dept.

She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a charter member of its Altar Society, a 56 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a life member of V.F.W. Auxiliary and a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #599.

She married Roy Kubly in May 1942, he died in September of 1966. In 1975 she married Francis "Chauncy" McCue of Darlington, he died in March of 1989.

Beulah enjoyed golfing, traveling, playing cards, reading, computer games and crossword puzzles. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow up and develop their careers and visiting with family and friends.

Surviving is her son, Terrence (Marguerite) Kubly of West LaFayette, IN; 3 grandchildren, Justin (Alicia) Kubly of Louisville, KY, Derek (Courtney) Kubly of LaCrosse, WI, Nichole Kubly of Denver, CO; 2 great grandsons, Connor and Brody of Louisville, KY. She is preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; son, Tom M. Kubly in 1985; brothers, Russell E. and Randall R. Hanson; sisters, Hazel Hanson, Ina Kanzig and Carol Kubly.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, with Rev. Kay Krebs officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
