WARREN - Armin W. Meyer, age 87, passed away on Thursday April 7, 2011 at the Lena Living Center. He was born on May 7, 1923 in Scales Mound, IL to William and Tillie (Hartwig) Meyer. He married Joyce Heller on January 14, 1945 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Scales Mound, IL. Armin farmed in the Stockton area for 25 years. He was a collector and maker of farm toys, and he enjoyed playing euchre.

He is survived by two sons; Kenneth (Nancy) Meyer of New Berlin WI, and Calvin (Dianna) Meyer of West Bend, WI. One daughter; Janice Hupp of Las Vegas NV. One son-in-law; Mark Ostby of Monticello, WI. Seven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. One step great-great-granddaughter. One Brother Edward (Pat) Meyer of Scales Mound, IL. One sister-in-law; Twila Meyer of Warren, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Corrine Ostby, one son-in-law, Fred Hupp, one brother Lewellyn Meyer and one infant granddaughter Jennifer Gilbertson.

Graveside services will be at one o'clock Saturday, April 9 at Elmwood Cemetary in Warren, IL.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
