Anna M. Kitto, age 92 of Monroe, died Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. Anna was born October 21, 1925 in Lancaster, WI, the daughter of John Jr. and Mary (Moorehouse) Ertz. She graduated from Lancaster High School in 1943 and Platteville Teacher's College in 1946. Anna married Robert D. Kitto on November 6, 1946 in Platteville. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2007. Anna worked at the Style Shop and Town and Country store in Monroe for over 40 years. She was a member of St. Victor Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening and sewing.

She is survived by a daughter, Jan (Maynard) Hefty of Monticello; a son, Kevin (Julie) Kitto of Monroe; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Joanie Brackett of Lancaster, and Franny Dent of Wisconsin Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, JoAnn Ott; two sisters, Louise Pink and Modesta Kopp; and two brothers, Gene Ertz and Joe Ertz.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 1329 31st. Ave., Monroe. Monsignor Michael Tierney will officiate with inurnment to follow in Calvary Cemetery, Monroe. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions in Anna's name to St. Victor Catholic Church are suggested in lieu of flowers. Condolences may be shared at www.newcomerfuneralhome.net.
