WIOTA TOWNSHIP, WI - Alice M. Wand, age 69 of Wiota, WI, died on Thursday, October 11, 2012 from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was born on February 23, 1943 in Savannah, IL to Leroy and Delores (Aurand) Leibert. Alice worked for over 30 years at Atwood Automotive in Stockton, Illinois. She waitressed at the former Drift Wood in Warren, Illinois and at Stagecoach in Nora, Illinois. She loved polka dancing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Wiota Lutheran Church, of its WELCA, and of the Moose Lodge in Monroe. Alice also served as secretary for the Lamont Cemetery Association.

Survivors include her mother, Delores Leibert of Darlington; her daughter, Tammy (David) Gustason; her three grandchildren: Eric (Kim), Alex, and Deborah Gustason all of Lena, IL; her longtime companion, Fritz Lancaster of Wiota; and his sons: Harlan Lancaster of Freeport, IL, Vincent (Diana) Lancaster of Austin, Texas, Arnold Lancaster of Argyle, Tony (Angie) Lancaster of Monroe; his grandchildren: Harley (Amanda), Brooklyn, Lilly, and Logan; and his great-grandchildren: David, Emily, and Andrea.

She is further survived by her sisters: Anita (Michael) Floen of Webster City, Iowa, twin sisters Sharon (Jim) Simmons of McLeansboro, IL and Karen Wilson of Darlington, and Mary Tyson of Warren, IL; many nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her father, Leroy, and a grandson, Andrew Lancaster.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2012 at WIOTA LUTHERAN CHURCH in Wiota, WI with Rev. Luke Smetters officiating.

Burial will follow at Lamont Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at WIOTA LUTHERAN CHURCH. The Steil Camacho Funeral Home, 206 E. Harriet Street, Darlington, WI, is serving the family.
