BENTON - Alice L. Hubbard Farrey, 76, of Monroe, Wisconsin, formerly of Benton, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at the home of her daughter in Monroe.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2009, at Casey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Cuba City with Pastor Rose Simon officiating. Burial will be in the Primitive Methodist Cemetery in Benton. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday or after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Alice was born on November 13, 1932, in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the daughter of Dietrich and Loretta (Selleck) Boldt. She married Richard Farrey on November 18, 1950 at the Open Bible Church in Dubuque. He preceded her in death. Alice attended school in Cuba City and was a member of the Bible Church School in Zion, Illinois. She worked at Advance Transformer in Monroe, Janlin Plastics in Warren, Illinois, and retired from Micro-Switch in Galena, Illinois. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will always be remembered for her love.
Survivors include two daughters, Deb (Bob) Golackson and Doreen (Dick) Weiler, both of Monroe; five sons, Richard (Carol) Farrey, of Long Grove, Iowa, David (Deb) Farrey, of Evansville, Wisconsin, Don Farrey and Dennis (Brenda) Farrey, both of Monroe, and Doug (Sue) Farrey, of Shullsburg; 35 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; her sisters and brother, Vearion A. Boldt, Eleanor Varker, Wilma Smythe, Barbara Randecker, Joan Adams, and Delvin Boldt; an infant child; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
