Monroe Police

MONROE — Sara M. Lawrence, 28, Monroe, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant for a probation or parole violation at 8:22 p.m. Sept. 22 at a residence in the 500 block of 16th Avenue. She was jailed.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — On Sept. 19:

●  A suspicious vehicle was reported at 11:19 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. Contact was made, and the vehicle was moved.

●  Theft of a window cling sign from a business was reported at 4:29 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  Three juveniles were warned about curfew at 10:27 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Betty Jo Mader, 40, Browntown, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol after deputies responded to a traffic complaint of a vehicle driving off of the roadway in the N1300 block of Wis. 69, Town of Clarno, at 9:56 p.m. Sept. 4. Deputies located the vehicle parked along the road. Mader was later released to a responsible party pending court.

●  Timothy D. Rundle, 57, Brodhead, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol in the W5200 block of Wis. 11, Town of Monroe, at 9:42 p.m. Sept. 5. He was also cited for speeding. He was released to a responsible party pending court.

● Chanice S.D. Williams, 26, Freeport, was cited for speeding, no vehicle insurance and possession of 25 grams or less of marijauna after deputies stopped her at 5:24 a.m. Sept. 12 in the N3600 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe.

●  Jacob A. Riley, 23, Argyle, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant at 1:22 p.m. Sept. 14 in the 2800 block of 6th Street in Monroe. He was jailed.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Shane Joslin, 22, Darlington, was cited for altering a vehicle registration sticker following a Sept. 5 traffic stop at a business on Wis. 23.

●  Steven L. Winters, 33, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license at about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 8 on Main Street.

●  Analia Jimenez-Aleman, 41, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license at about 11:45 p.m. Sept. 9 on Main Street.

●  Dylan L. Rebout, 17, Darlington, was cited for no vehicle insurance at 7:45 p.m. Sept. 11 following a traffic crash at a business on Wells Street.

●  Rene M. Lampley, 36, Davis Junction, Illinois, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 3:20 a.m. Sept. 12 following contact with a vehicle at a business on Christensen Drive. Lampley was released to a responsible party.

●  Nelson D. Amaya-Perea, 32, Darlington, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while intoxicated and driving after revocation at 1:20 a.m. Sept. 13 following a welfare check on a vehicle in a parking lot on Wells Street. Amaya-Perea was booked into the jail and later released to a responsible party.

●  A Darlington teen was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed and failure to maintain control at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 16 following a report of a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and losing control into the ditch on Spring Street.

●  Jeffrey M. Fritz, 44, Savage, Minnesota, was arrested on a charge of operating an ATV while intoxicated at 6:28 p.m. Sept. 19 on Washington Street.

●  Flor Romero-Rosas, 28, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license at 2:30 a.m. Sept. 20 on Ohio Street.

●  Jacob R. Heim, 40, Darlington, was arrested on a domestic abuse-related charge of disorderly conduct at 7:12 p.m. Sept. 20 following a disturbance on Galena Street. He was also cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was jailed pending bond or a court appearance.

●  Diane L. Garrison, 50, Monroe, was cited for harassment at 7 p.m. Sept. 21 following a report of continual phone harassment of a Darlington resident. 


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Aug. 31:

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 6:16 p.m. on West Milwaukee Street in Argyle. Argyle EMS assisted. It was a home death, not suspicious in nature.

●  Justin O. Hook, 34, Mineral Point, was cited for driving with a revoked license and no vehicle insurance at 6:25 p.m. on Galena Street in Argyle.

●  An animal injured on the roadway was reported at 7:11 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 11:29 p.m. on County KK, Town of Gratiot.

On Sept. 1:

●  An erratic driver was reported at 5:05 a.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 6:12 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs. As a result, Erika Mendoza-Sanchez, 26, Darlington, was cited for driving without a license and failure to maintain control.

●  A deputy responded at 8:16 a.m. to South Kennedy Street in Shullsburg to assist Shullsburg police with a disorderly conduct complaint.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 12:09 p.m. on Pecatonica Road, Town of Wiota.

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 6:09 p.m. on East Main Street in Benton.

On Sept. 2:

●  Deputies responded to keep the peace at 12:46 a.m. on North Lafayette Street in Argyle.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 2:21 a.m. on County G, Town of Fayette.

●  An ATV complaint was reported at 6:13 a.m. on South Park Street in Belmont.

●  A deputy assisted Ridgeway police at 2:17 p.m. on Dunbarton Road, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Harassment was reported at 6:32 p.m. on Mink Farm Road, Town of Wiota. The caller complained that her mother is going to the Black Hawk school to see the caller’s children, her grandchildren, in violation of a court order.

●  Sean D. R. Hitchcock, 34, Madison, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated and on a charge of making threats to law enforcement after deputies responded at 8:20 p.m. to County N, Town of Argyle, for a disabled vehicle. He was jailed. The Green County Sheriff’s Office and Monroe and Madison police assisted.

●  A deputy responded to keep the peace at 9:40 p.m. on Heller Court in Shullsburg.

On Sept. 3:

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a traffic stop at 1:44 a.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington.

●  A deputy came upon a disabled vehicle at 6:04 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:52 a.m. on County Z, Town of Darlington.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 11:14 a.m. on County D, Town of Fayette.

●  Melanie F. Segner, 53, Monroe, was cited for speeding at 3:46 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings.

●  A scam was reported at 4:45 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 8:29 p.m. on East Church Street in Blanchardville.

●  Alexandra L. Rullman, 21, Walworth, was cited for a suspended vehicle registration at 8:35 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  A civil dispute was reported at 9:28 p.m. on Center Drive Road, Town of Elk Grove.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 11:40 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  An erratic driver was reported at 6:39 p.m. on County Y, Town of Argyle.

●  Michael V. Doman, 40, Medinah, Illinois, was cited for speeding and failure to stop at a stop sign at 7:02 p.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings.

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 7:08 p.m. on Galena Street in Benton.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 7:33 p.m. on Dietz Lane, Town of Wayne.

●  A deputy responded at 10:26 p.m. to West Pine Street in Blanchardville to assist Blanchardville police.

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 10:59 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.

On Sept. 5:

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 5:29 a.m. on County J in Benton. Deputies responded to assist with removing an intoxicated man.

●  Theft of items from in front of a business was reported at 6:49 a.m. on West Water Street in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy responded at 7:48 a.m. to County H, Town of Benton, to assist the Green County Sheriff’s Office with a welfare check.

●  A deputy responded at 9:23 a.m. to Glenville Road, Town of Shullsburg, to assist with unlocking a vehicle.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 9:53 a.m. on County Z, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy responded at 2:06 p.m. to Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot, to assist the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.

●  A deputy responded at 4:27 p.m. to Mates Avenue in Belmont to assist with unlocking a vehicle.

●  Anthony J. Bruscato, 19, Apple River, Illinois, and William F. Cook, 19, Chicago, were both cited for speeding at 6:58 p.m. on County O, Town of White Oak Springs.

●  A deputy came across a disabled vehicle at 8:39 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  A suspicious vehicle was reported at 9:26 p.m. at the Dollar General, 14727 Valley Rd., Argyle.

●  Deputies responded at 9:42 p.m. to Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove, to assist the Grant County Sheriff’s Office with a welfare check.

On Sept. 6:

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 6:36 a.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 9:01 a.m. on County H, Town of Blanchard.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 1:38 p.m. on Bethel Grove Road, Town of Belmont.

●  A deputy responded at 1:48 p.m. to Ravine Street in Darlington to assist Darlington police with a domestic dispute.

●  Eugene D. Knapp, 42, Gratiot, was cited for not wearing a seatbelt while operating an ATV at 3:14 p.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 4:02 p.m. on Lincicum Road, Town of Wayne.

●  Alayna D. Waters, 24, Warren, was cited for speeding at 4:35 p.m. on County W, Town of Shullsburg.
