Albany Police

ALBANY — Tyler J. Adams, 19, Gratiot, was cited Tuesday, Sept. 25, for driving with a suspended license.

•  Corbin G. Hamilton, 26, Albany, was cited Wednesday, Sept. 27, for public nuisances affecting health and for having junked appliances on a property.

•  Kortney M. Lisser, 34, Albany, was arrested Sunday, Sept. 30, on a charge of battery.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Cited for driving without a valid license:

•  Mitzi G. Viveros-Mejia, 30, Shullsburg, at about 11:45 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, following a traffic complaint on Main Street.

•  Mireya Rincon-Sanchez, 46, Darlington, at about 1:40 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, following a traffic crash at the Darlington Elementary-Middle School.

•  Freylin Cayetano Medina-Rodriguez, 29, Darlington, at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, following a traffic stop on West River Street.


Monroe Police

MONROE — William J. Schneider, 63, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence Laws following an investigation into a domestic dispute in the 1400 block of 22nd Avenue at 11:33 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28. He was later released, pending a court appearance, after posting cash bail.

•  Louis R. Mendonca, 75, Monroe, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections in the 400 block of 21st Street at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29. He was jailed pending further proceedings.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Thomas J. Freese, 31, Beloit, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Beloit Police Department following a traffic stop in the W500 block of Wisconsin 81, Town of Spring Grove, at 4:44 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2. He was also cited for speeding, driving with a suspended license, non-registration of an auto and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was turned over to the Beloit Police Department. A passenger in the vehicle, Caleb T. Vazquez, 26, Juda, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and for littering. A deputy reported seeing Vazquez throw something from the window of the vehicle. The item he threw out was not located and Vazquez refused to tell deputies what it was. The Green County K-9 Unit assisted with the investigation.

•  Nicole M. Rackow, 34, Juda, was arrested and jailed on charges of disorderly conduct and trespassing in a dwelling after deputies responded for a welfare check at a residence in the W2900 block of Main Street, Town of Jefferson, at 10:54 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3. She was arrested on an additional charge of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct after further investigation into a disturbance at a residence in the W3000 block of Main Street, Town of Jefferson.


New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS — On Tuesday, Sept. 25:

•  Anthony R. Messinger, 37, New Glarus, was arrested at 7:31 p.m. on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court. He was transported to the Belleville Police Department, where custody was transferred to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.

On Wednesday, Sept. 26:

•  Police responded to a medical call at 2:18 p.m. in the 300 block of 6th Avenue.

On Thursday, Sept. 27:

•  Police responded to a medical call at 2:14 p.m. in the 900 block of Glarner Drive.

•  Police removed a trash can from the middle of the road in the 1000 block of 2nd Street at 2:52 p.m.

•  A suspicious vehicle was reported at 7:24 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

On Friday, Sept. 28:

•  A pair of prescription glasses was located in the 10 block of 6th Avenue and turned over to police at 12:47 p.m.

•  At 1:46 p.m., police were present for a civil issue between two parties exchanging property in the 600 block of Wis. 69.

•  A bicycle found in the 10 block of 5th Avenue was turned over to police at 2:45 p.m.

•  A vehicle illegally parked in the 10 block of 5th Avenue was cited at 3:02 p.m.

•  David M.R. Hanneman, 36, Monroe, was cited for excessive vehicle window tinting at 4:59 p.m. at 14th Avenue and Wis. 69.

•  Police assisted a citizen at 6:01 p.m. by fingerprinting them for a background check.

•  A vehicle parked in a temporarily restricted area in the 10 block of 5th Avenue was cited at 7:50 p.m.

•  Police responded to a medical call at 7:51 p.m. in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue.

•  Police and the New Glarus Fire Department were dispatched to a report of an odor of gas at a residence in the 500 block of 14th Avenue at 8:27 p.m. Firefighters stayed on scene until the gas company arrived.

•  A noise complaint was reported at 10:05 p.m. in the 700 block of Railroad Street.

•  An injured person was reported at 10:13 p.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street. The person was transported by EMS.

n An intoxicated person trespassing at a residence was reported at 10:41 p.m. in the 10 block of 5th Avenue. The person was not located.

•  A vehicle parked in a temporarily restricted area in the 10 block of 6th Avenue was cited at 10:45 p.m.

•  Police escorted a man from the Oktoberfest grounds at 11:13 p.m. for displaying disorderly conduct at the festivities.

•  A vehicle parked in a temporarily restricted area in the 10 block of 6th Avenue was cited at 11:40 p.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 29:

•  Police removed a dead animal from the roadway on Wis. 69 near Industrial Drive at 12:57 a.m.

•  A vehicle parked in a temporarily restricted area in the 100 block of 6th Avenue was cited at 3:01 p.m.

•  A found cellphone turned over to police at 3:26 p.m. was later reunited with its owner.

•  A found wallet turned over to police at 5:50 p.m. was later reunited with its owner.

•  Police responded to a medical call at 10:16 p.m. in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue.

•  A vehicle parked in a no-parking zone in the 100 block of 6th Avenue was cited at 10:44 p.m.

•  A found Kate Spade-brand wallet was turned over to police at 11 p.m.

On Sunday, Sept. 30:

•  Police received a complaint at 12:04 a.m. of a vehicle parked in an alleyway in the 500 block 1st Street. Contact was made with the owner and it was removed.

•  A debit card found in the 500 block of 1st Street was turned over to police at 1:09 a.m.

•  Police located an injured person at 1:28 a.m. in the 100 block of 5th Avenue. Medical assistance was summoned, and the person was transported to a hospital.

•  Police attempted to stop a bright red Chevy quad-cab pickup truck at 2:11 p.m. in the 10 block of 2nd Street for operating left of center. A short pursuit ensued but the officer terminated the pursuit and the vehicle was not located. The pickup truck had aluminum running boards and wheels and was last seen traveling northbound out of the village on County O. Anyone with information regarding the vehicle or its owner is encouraged to contact the police department at 608-527-2145 or Green County Crime Stoppers at 800- 422-7463 for a possible cash reward.

•  A lost Samsung Galaxy cellphone in a metallic blue case with stickers on it was reported lost at 1:35 p.m.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Thursday, Sept. 27:

•  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 6:58 a.m. on County F, Town of Darlington.

•  A traffic complaint was reported at 9:56 a.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington. The Darlington Police Department assisted on scene.

•  Livestock in the roadway was reported at 9:57 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

•  Hali S. Smith, 26, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license and non-registration of a motor vehicle at 3:16 p.m. on Dunbarton Road, Town of Shullsburg.

•  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 5:05 p.m. on Wis. 78 in Argyle.

•  A deputy came upon illegal dumping at 6:04 p.m. on Sargent Road, Town of Wayne.

•  A deputy assisted a motorist at 7:40 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

•  Michael E. Becerra, 32, Oak Lawn, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 7:57 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

•  Suspicious activity was reported at 9:59 p.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.

•  A traffic complaint was reported at 12:39 p.m. on Martin Road, Town of Monticello.

•  Rod D. Maurer Jr., 19, Gratiot, was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speeding, driving without vehicle insurance and operating a motor vehicle without an adequate muffler at 6:41 p.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.

•  A 911 misdial was reported at 7:13 p.m. on Wildcat Road, Town of Darlington.

•  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:33 p.m. on County D, Town of Fayette.

•  Dominick J. Malito, 28, Homewood, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 10:22 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.
