Brodhead Police
BRODHEAD — For the week of Oct. 17 to Oct. 23, police performed 21 security checks, 11 citizen assists, eight assists of other agencies, seven follow-ups to incidents, eight vehicle registration and four traffic stops; responded to 39 calls for service and reported 17 EMS calls, 10 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls and one fire call. No detox or mental health transports were reported.
On Oct. 17:
● Suspicious activity was reported at 12:58 a.m. in the 800 block of 23rd Street. Nothing suspicious was found.
● Subjects running in the woods was reported at 2:53 a.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. Officers were unable to locate individuals.
● A Durand, Illinois man, 58, was cited for speeding at 6:36 p.m. in the 300 block of 23rd Street.
On Oct. 18:
● Suspicious activity was reported at 5 a.m. in the N100 block of 1 st Center Avenue.
● A Orfordville woman, 58, was cited for issuing worthless checks at 9:39 a.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.
● A Brodhead man, 20, was cited for inattentive driving and no proof of vehicle insurance at 1:48 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. A Janesville man, 24, was cited for driving without a valid license.
● A Roscoe, Illinois woman, 62, was cited for speeding at 4:36 p.m. in the 300 block of 23rd Street.
● A Brodhead man, 37, was arrested on a charge of first-degree reckless endangerment and operating firearm while intoxicated at 8:15 p.m. Oct. 19 in the 1400 block of West 4th Avenue.
● Harassment was reported at 8:15 p.m. Oct. 20 in the 1400 block of East 7th Avenue. Verbal warnings were issued.
On Oct. 21:
● Suspicious activity was reported at 12:53 a.m. in the 1100 block of 11th Street. Nothing suspicious was found.
● A traffic hazard involving steel in the roadway was reported at 4:34 p.m. in the 100 block of 23rd Street. Officers were unable to locate the steel.
● Suspicious activity was reported at 11:40 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 1800 block of East 9th Avenue. Nothing suspicious was found.
Monroe Police
MONROE — Nicholas W. Johnson, 28, Monroe, was arrested on a probation violation warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections at 1:53 p.m. Oct. 20 in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West. He was jailed.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE — Jessica R. Leibow, 31, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating under the influence, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:14 p.m. Oct. 18 in the 600 block of 30th Street in Monroe. A passenger, Jacob E. Hooper, 28, Monroe, was also arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Both were jailed.
● Samantha R. Smith, 23, West Allis, was cited for possession of paraphernalia and warned for open intoxicants and expired registration at 2:01 a.m. Oct. 23 in the N6800 block of County N, Town of Washington.
On Oct. 21:
● Deputies responded for a domestic incident at 5:28 a.m. in the 300 block of South Church Street in Browntown. Christopher A. Humphrey, 35, and Diana C. Humphrey, 35, got into a verbal argument. Charges of domestic disorderly conduct and bail jumping were referred to the District Attorney.
● Jeffrey A. Moore, 56, Browntown, was arrested on charges of domestic disorderly conduct, battery and strangulation/suffocation at 11:05 p.m. in the N1900 block of Ullom Road, Town of Cadiz as a result of a physical altercation. He was jailed.
Darlington Police
DARLINGTON — Fany Salgado-Quiroz, 26, Darlington, was cited for violations of child safety restraint for children under four at 9:17 a.m. Oct. 18 on Galena Street after an officer observed two small children in the backseat unrestrained. Salgado-Quiroz was also cited for driving without a valid license and no vehicle insurance.
On Oct. 19:
● Devin Parmer, 17, Darlington, was cited for violating GDL restrictions and failure to have passengers fasten seatbelts at 3:35 p.m. on Galena Street.
● Michelle Cuevas, 19, Brodhead, was cited for a violation of child safety restraints for children four years but less than eight at 4:11 p.m. at the Darlington Municipal Building parking lot.
● Julio Flores, 50, Darlington, was cited for two counts of violation of child safety restraints for children four years but less than eight at 4:50 p.m. on Ohio Street. He was also cited for driving without a valid license and no vehicle insurance.
● Pamela Wymore, 58, Shullsburg, was cited for two counts of violation of child safety restraints for children under four, two counts for children four years but less than eight and failure to have passenger fasten seatbelt at 4 p.m. Oct. 21 on Main Street.

DARLINGTON — On Oct. 11:
● Harlie R. Jamison, 21, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 2:01 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.
● A deputy assisted Grant County Sheriff’s Office with a check welfare at 5:28 a.m. on North Percival Street in Hazel Green.
● A deputy responded to check welfare at 5:55 a.m. on R and K Road, Town of Darlington.
● Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:10 p.m. on County D, Town of Wayne.
● Nicholas J. Beckmann, 20, Platteville, was cited for speeding at 10:12 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.
On Oct. 12:
● A 911 misdial was reported at 2:36 a.m. on Neeseman Road, Town of Gratiot.
● A deputy responded to check welfare at 3:52 a.m. on East Mound Road, Town of Belmont. Belmont police assisted.
● Mitchell A. Humbert, 38, Mount Horeb, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at 4:57 a.m. on County I, Town of Elk Grove. He was released.
● Anthony M. Williams, 28, Dubuque, Iowa, was arrested on a charge of domestic disorderly conduct at 9:50 a.m. on North Mound Avenue in Belmont. He was released.
● Livestock on the roadway was reported at 5:38 p.m. on Silverthorn Road, Town of Benton.
● Jesus Cardozo-Reza, 45, Darlington, was cited for speeding and driving without a license at 7:52 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.
● Rufino Hernandez, 39, Darlington, was cited for driving without a license at 8:21 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.
● Brytnee K. Pence, 19, Argyle, was cited for non-registration of auto at 8:40 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.
● A deputy responded to check welfare at 11:24 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne. Browntown First Response and Green County EMS assisted.
