Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of Nov. 4 to 10, police performed eight security checks, 30 citizen assists, 10 assists of other agencies, 11 vehicle registrations and 18 follow-ups to incidents; responded to nine calls for service, seven EMS calls and seven 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made nine traffic stops. No fire calls or mental health or detox transports were reported.

On Sunday, Nov. 4:

•  Damage to a rental property was reported at 2:27 p.m. in the 300 block of 13th Street.

On Monday, Nov. 5:

•  A parking complaint of an unoccupied vehicle left in a business parking lot was reported at 1:31 p.m. in the 100 block of 1st Street. The vehicle was moved prior to police contact.

•  A Brodhead man, 22, was arrested on charges of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 3:41 p.m. in the 300 block of 23rd Street. A second 22-year-old man was also arrested on a charge of possessing marijuana and cited for driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance and failure to maintain a vehicle’s exhaust system.

On Tuesday, Nov. 6:

•  Truancy was reported at 11:36 a.m. in the 500 block of West 2nd Avenue. A warning was issued.

•  A Monroe man, 44, was cited for non-registration of an auto at 8:23 p.m. in the 900 block of East 9th Avenue.

On Wednesday, Nov. 7:

•  A dog at large was reported at 3:38 p.m. in the 200 block of 1st Center Avenue. The owner was warned.

On Thursday, Nov. 8:

•  Disorderly conduct involving a verbal altercation was reported at 4 p.m. in the 200 block of Juniper Avenue. A warning was issued.

•  A Coon Rapids, Minnesota man, 25, was cited for second-offense operating while intoxicated, bail jumping and driving without vehicle insurance at 5:38 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Saturday, Nov. 10:

•  A Brodhead man, 38, was arrested on domestic abuse-related charges of battery and disorderly conduct at 9:59 p.m. in the 300 block of East 8th Avenue. He was jailed.


Monroe Police

MONROE — Roger M. Blum, 49, Monroe, was arrested on charges of battery, disorderly conduct and bail jumping as the result of a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of West 21st Street at 5:16 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8. He was jailed pending court.

•  Howard M. Glenn Jr., 21, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a report of an unwanted person refusing to leave a residence in the 200 block of 4th Avenue at 1:28 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11. He was booked at the jail and released pending court.


New Glarus Police

New Glarus — On Monday, Nov. 5:

•  A medical call was reported at 8:16 a.m. in the 1200 block of 2nd Street.

•  John A. Hanson, 31, New Glarus, was cited for disorderly conduct at 8:15 p.m. following an investigation into an incident that occurred Oct. 28 in the 500 block of 1st Street.

On Tuesday, Nov. 6:

•  Police checked a vehicle stopped in traffic at County W and Wisconsin 69 at 8:24 a.m. There was no problem.

•  Taylor N. Riley, 22, Monticello, was cited for driving with an expired vehicle registration and no vehicle insurance following a traffic stop for an equipment violation at 8:56 a.m. in the 1100 block of 2nd Street.

•  A juvenile was reported missing at 5:50 p.m. from the 200 block of 14th Avenue, but was later located.

•  Police responded for a welfare check at 11:37 p.m. in the 800 block of Wis. 69.

On Wednesday, Nov. 7:

•  A medical call was reported at 1:58 p.m. in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue.

•  A medical call was reported at 2:47 p.m. in the 700 block of Windlach Street.

•  A medical call was reported at 3:35 p.m. in the 300 block of 8th Avenue.

•  Police responded for a welfare check at 5 p.m. in the 1200 block of Wis. 69. Everything was fine.

•  Police responded to a request from the Green County Sheriff’s Office for assistance with an animal problem at 5:57 p.m. in the W5000 block of County W.

On Thursday, Nov. 8:

•  Harassment by a juvenile was reported at 12:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of 2nd Street. He was warned.

•  Maurice D. King, 48, Monroe, was cited for disorderly conduct and battery after police responded to a report of an assault in progress at 1:31 p.m. in the 1000 block of 3rd Street.

•  Disorderly conduct between juveniles was reported at 4:35 p.m. in the 500 block of 14th Avenue. Contact was made with all the juveniles and their parents.

•  A possible abandoned vehicle was reported at 7 p.m. in the 300 block of 5th Street. Everything checked out; someone was borrowing the vehicle.

•  A medical call was reported at 11:33 p.m. in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue.

On Friday, Nov. 9:

•  A person slumped over in a vehicle was reported at 11:10 a.m. on 3rd Avenue at Durst Road. Police made contact with the lone occupant, and everything was fine. They were on a lunch break.

•  A 911 misdial was reported at 1:17 p.m. in the 700 block of 2nd Avenue.

•  A dog running at large was reported at 4:55 p.m. in the 900 block of 1st Street. The dog had escaped out the back fence of a yard and was returned to its owner.

•  A medical call was reported at 5:16 p.m. in the 500 block of 1st Street.

•  A juvenile was cited for disorderly conduct after police responded to an incident at 7:06 p.m. in the 1600 block of 2nd Street.

•  Police received a call at 8:03 p.m. about a gate that is normally closed being open in the 1400 block of 2nd Street. Police checked the area and secured the gate.

On Saturday, Nov. 10:

•  Halee M. McNett, 31, New Glarus, was taken into custody for a probation and parole violation at 11:26 a.m. in the 400 block of 2nd Street. She was jailed.

On Sunday, Nov. 11:

•  Kayla A. Gray, 21, Monticello, was cited for an expired vehicle registration after being stopped for an equipment violation at 4:51 p.m. on 6th Avenue at 1st Street.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Misael Dominquez-Adorno, 19, South Beloit, Illinois, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated (drug-related) and a charge of possessing under 25 grams of THC after deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding in the N7500 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus, at 6:32 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11. He was released to a responsible party.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Friday, Nov. 2:

•  A civil dispute was reported at 4:20 p.m. on Railroad Avenue in Benton.

•  Meshelle L. Settles, 44, Janesville, was cited for speeding at 4:42 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

•  A civil dispute was reported at 7:31 p.m. on Mineral Street, Town of Wiota.

•  A deputy assisted in unlocking a vehicle at 8:38 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

•  Antonio J. Bahena, 20, Darlington, was cited for disorderly conduct after a deputy responded to a report of an erratic driver at 8:50 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

On Saturday, Nov. 3:

•  Suspicious activity was reported at 12:04 a.m. on Dunbarton Road, Town of Gratiot.

•  A 911 misdial was reported at 12:12 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.
