BRODHEAD — For the week of April 26 to May 2, police performed 27 security checks, 39 citizen assists, six assists of other agencies, five follow-ups to incidents, 16 vehicle registrations and nine traffic stop; responded to nine calls for service and reported nine EMS calls, one fire call and 12 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls. No mental health or detox transports were reported.
● A Pewaukee woman, 54, was cited for speeding at 3:58 p.m. April 26 in the 600 block of 1st Street.
● A person putting food out for outside animals was reported at 8:39 a.m. April 27 in the 600 block of West 2nd Avenue. The complainant was concerned about the food attracting wildlife. Police issued a warning.
● Fraud involving identity theft was reported at 7:35 p.m. April 27 in the 800 block of East 6th Avenue.
● A traffic crash involving one vehicle backing into another vehicle was reported at 2:05 p.m. April 28 in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue. As this occurred on private property, no citations were issued.
● A dog at large was reported at 8:25 p.m. April 28 in the 1500 block of 1st Center Avenue. The owner was warned.
● A traffic crash involving two motorcycles colliding was reported at 7:43 p.m. April 30 in the 2300 block of 1st Center Avenue. One of the drivers was warned for failure to maintain control.
● A vehicle not being moved in accordance with the city’s 48-hour parking ordinance was reported at 11:48 a.m. May 1 in the 500 block of West 2nd Avenue. The owner was contacted to move the vehicle.
● Vandalism involving damage to a vehicle was reported at 7:28 p.m. May 2 in the 300 block of 2nd Street.
● A person driving a moped and causing a disturbance was reported at 9:11 p.m. May 2 in the 400 block of 12th Street. Prior to police arrival, the complainant advised the issue had been resolved.
Darlington Police
DARLINGTON — Shelby Cody, 23, South Wayne, was cited for driving with a suspended license and obstructing an officer at 5:10 p.m. April 30 following a traffic stop on Mary Street. Her passengers, Tara Goodrich, 19, Mineral Point, and Dawsen Panozzo, 19, Dodgeville, were also cited for obstructing an officer.
● John Turpin, 51, and Troy Stotts, 57, both of Darlington, were cited for shooting a missile at 1:15 p.m. May 3 following a complaint of someone shooting a crossbow near the ATV trail on Washington Street.
Monroe Police
MONROE — Courtney J. Jackson, 23, Monroe, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections apprehension request and Monroe Police Department warrant for felony bail jumping at 6:03 a.m. April 30 in the 1000 block of 7th Avenue. She was jailed pending further proceedings.
● Steven M. K. Futch, 26, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of battery under Wisconsin’s Domestic Violence Laws at 1:54 a.m. May 2, following an investigation into a domestic dispute that occurred in the 600 block of 30th Street. He was booked and released after posting a cash bail.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE — Thomas J. Warden, 63, Brodhead, was arrested on domestic abuse-related charges of intimidation of a victim and disorderly conduct after deputies at 2:55 p.m. April 30 began investigating a report of a disturbance that had occurred at a residence in the N3900 block of Park Road, Town of Decatur. Warden was jailed. On May 1, his signature bond was set at $5,000 with conditions including no drinking and no bars or liquor stores. His preliminary hearing in June 3.

DARLINGTON — On Friday, April 24:.
● A domestic dispute was reported at 9:50 a.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.
● Trespassing was reported at 11:48 a.m. on County F, Town of Fayette.
● A deputy responded to check welfare at 12:24 p.m. on Noble Street in Gratiot.
● Suspicious activity was reported at 12:26 p.m. on Stone Road, Town of Willow Springs.
● A 911 misdial was reported at 3:54 p.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.
● A deputy responded to keep the peace at 4:22 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg.
● A traffic complaint was reported at 5:41 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.
● Joshua M. Dixon, 25, Neponset, Illinois, was cited for operating while intoxicated after a deputy responded at 7:38 p.m. to East Sargent Road, Town of Wayne, for a traffic complaint. Dixon was taken to the sheriff’s office and released to a responsible party.
● Illegal burning was reported at 7:48 p.m. on Search Road, Town of Blanchard.
● A deputy assisted Blanchardville police with a traffic stop at 10:59 p.m. on Wis. 78.

● Angel E. Sosa, 21, Potosi, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated at 12:26 a.m. and taken to the sheriff’s office, where he was released to a responsible party.
● An injured deer was reported at 6:10 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.
● A 911 misdial was reported at 12:30 p.m. on County DD, Town of Gratiot.
● A gas drive-off was reported at 1:50 p.m. on North Mound Avenue in Belmont.
● A 911 misdial was reported at 2:25 p.m. on Palfrey Road, Town of New Diggings.
● Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:15 p.m. on Apple Branch Road, Town of Argyle.
