ALBANY­— Fay C. Briggs, 72, Albany, was cited July 12 for illegal burning.

● Randall W. Leeder, 32, Evansville, was cited July 14 for driving with a suspended license and without vehicle insurance. 

● Alyssa D. Fisher, 30, Albany, was cited July 14 for driving with a suspended license, without vehicle insurance and failing to stop at a stop sign. 

● Jack T. Kern, 25, Poplar Grove, Illinois, was arrested July 17 on a second-offense charge of operating while under the influence and cited for failure to obey a sign or signal. 

● Julien S. Zubkov, 21, Glastonbury, Connecticut, was cited July 18 for outside consumption of alcohol.

● Charli M. Collet, 28, Warrensburg, Missouri, was cited July 18 for outside consumption of alcohol.

● Aiman Yousfan, 28, Madison, was arrested July 18 on a second-offense charge of operating while under the influence.

 

Monroe Police

MONROE — John Lyle Carothers Muszynski, 28, Albany, was arrested at 10:19 a.m. July 20 on a warrant after a report of a subject with a warrant at a residence in the 500 block of West 21st Street.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — James M. Wiest, 55, Dodgeville, was arrested at 10:56 p.m. July 16 on a charge of driving with a revoked license and on four counts of misdemeanor bail jumping following a traffic stop on Fayette Road. He was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.

●  Tiffany M. Repa, 25, Warren, Illinois, was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to notify police of an accident following a one-vehicle accident at 3:26 a.m. July 17 on County K.

DARLINGTON — On June 29:

●  Riley A. Schuetz, 25, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 7:36 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 7:42 a.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.

●  Mark A. Zakula, 67, Argyle, was arrested for bail jumping after a deputy responded at 8:36 a.m. to a complaint of harassment on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle. Zakula was jailed.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 9:19 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 11:14 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings. Shullsburg police assisted a deputy in responding.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 4:25 p.m. on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle.

●  Derek J. Sturdevant, 27, Janesville, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 8:21 p.m. on County KK, Town of Gratiot.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 8:24 p.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a welfare check at 11:24 p.m. on East Harriet Street in Darlington.

●  Anthony McKee, 41, Chicago, was cited for driving at an unreasonable and imprudent speed and without a valid license at 11:49 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 1:20 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

●  A dog at large was reported at 2:37 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot. A deputy contacted the owner and had the dog picked up.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 5:22 p.m. on Dobbs Road, Town of Lamont.

●  Deputies responded for an alarm at 5:59 p.m. on South Mound Avenue in Belmont.

●  John E. Dunlavy III, 51, Darlington, was cited for no proof of vehicle insurance at 6:15 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 5:46 a.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 9:13 a.m. on Jericho Road, Town of Belmont.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 10:32 a.m. on County Z, Town of Darlington.

●  A hit-and-run was reported at 1:39 p.m. on Hill Street, Town of Darlington. Darlington police assisted. The vehicle had hit a child but the child was uninjured and the driver stopped to make sure the child was OK before leaving. No citations were issued.

●  An erratic driver was reported at 4:46 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  Criminal damage to property was reported at 6:33 p.m. on County F, Town of Darlington.

●  A restraining order violation was reported at 7:07 p.m. on Ollie Bell Road, Town of Benton.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 11:08 p.m. on East Truth Street in Shullsburg.

On July 3:

●  A burglary to an outbuilding and a theft of tools was reported at 7:54 a.m. on Red Rock Road, Town of Darlington.

●  A civil dispute was reported at 8:06 a.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  An accident with minor damage was reported at 8:13 a.m. in the Town of Wayne. The driver of a Ford Escape struck the bridge on County D/N because the driver of an oncoming truck and trailer did not give her room to cross the narrow bridge. 

●  A suspicious unoccupied van parked by a cemetary with no one around was reported at 8:45 a.m. on County W, Town of Gratiot. It belonged to a woman out riding her bike. Everything was OK.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 4:06 p.m. on Belmont Street in Belmont.

●  An injured deer was reported at 4:35 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle.

●  A domestic dispute was reported at 5:58 p.m. on Galena Street in Darlington.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 9:35 p.m. on County N, Town of Argyle.

●  Domestic abuse was reported at 10:51 p.m. on West Grove Street in South Wayne.

●  A complaint of firecrackers being thrown from a moving truck was reported 11:25 p.m. on Round Road, Town of Wiota. A responding deputy was unable to locate the truck.

●  Florencio Tlehuactle, 28, Darlington, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and making threats to injure after deputies responded at 11:44 p.m. to Wis. 81, Town of Seymour, for a report of disorderly conduct. Darlington police assisted on scene. Tlehuactle was jailed.

On July 4:

●  An accident was reported at 1:14 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

●  A domestic dispute was reported at 5:19 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:25 a.m. on County G, Town of Kendall.

●  The theft of a “No Trespassing” sign was reported at 11:05 a.m. in the 3700 block of County F, Town of Blanchard.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 11:55 a.m. on Otter Creek Road, Town of Darlington.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 5:38 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 5:58 p.m. on County J, Town of Benton.

●  Connie M. Hinderman, 62, Hazel Green, was cited for speeding at 6:14 p.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 6:21 p.m. on Lake Road, Town of Fayette.

●  Joshua R. Bloom, 21, Platteville, was cited for speeding at 6:42 p.m. on Wis. 81, TOwn of Darlington.

●  John E. Brown, 40, Benton, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated on an ATV and cited for speeding at 7:07 p.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings. He was transported to the sheriff’s office and released to a responsible party. 

●  An injured deer was reported at 7:19 p.m. on Ames Road, Town of Darlington.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 8:07 p.m. on Apple Grove Church Road, Town of Argyle.

●  Uriel Santiago, 28, Darlington, was arrested and jailed on a charge of obstructing after deputies responded to check welfare at 8:34 p.m. on Hazel Street in Belmont.

●  A gathering that turned into a physical alteration between several people was reported at 8:49 p.m. at a residence on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour. Injuries were reported, and Green County EMS of Darlington transported one person to a hospital.

On July 5:

●  A deputy responded to assist Darlington police with a traffic stop at 12:07 a.m. on Wis. 81.

●  A noise complaint was reported at 12:47 a.m. on County Y, Town of Wiota.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 11:37 a.m. on Sargent Road, Town of Wayne.

●  Iris D. Quiroz-Montoya, 23, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license and failure to use child safety seat restraints at 6:14 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 6:25 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 7:21 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  A theft of a set of keys from the caller’s center console of her vehicle was reported at 8:12 p.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings. The vehicle was towed back to Scales Mound, Illinois.

●  A juvenile problem was reported at 6:15 p.m. on South Park Street in Belmont.

●  A civil dispute was reported at 6:53 p.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont.

●  A deputy responded to assist a citizen at 7:03 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  Theft of property, possibly by a moving company hired to move the complainant and their family, was reported at 8:43 p.m. on County E, Town of Darlington.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 10:58 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Belmont police assisted a deputy on scene.

●  A deputy responded to assist a citizen at 11:10 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Belmont police assisted.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 2:15 p.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 5:56 p.m. on Buncombe Road, Town of Benton. The Lafayette County Highway Department assisted a deputy on scene.

●  Dylan R.C. Clauer, 23, Shullsburg, was cited for speeding at 10:47 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

On July 8:

●  Threatening texts between husband and wife were reported at 2:15 a.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont. It took place in Platteville, so the case was turned over to Platteville police.

●  Kevin Gendron, 28, Cuba City, was cited for no proof of vehicle insurance at 7:27 a.m. on County X, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A deputy responded to assist Darlngton police with a lift assist at 10:39 a.m. on Main Street in Darlington.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 11:15 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 12:21 p.m. on Buncombe Road, Town of Benton. Hazel Green police assisted.

●  A deputy responded to provide traffic control at 3:17 p.m. on College Farm Road, Town of Belmont.

●  A physical assault was reported at 4:28 p.m. on South State Street in Argyle. The assault occurred July 4 on a Pec Time Tubing bus between people who had been tubing that day.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 5:27 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 5:29 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

●  Trespassing was reported at 6:11 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne, related to longstanding trespassing complaints between two neighbors.

●  An animal problem was reported at 6:55 p.m. on West Estey Street in Shullsburg.

●  A domestic dispute was reported at 8:07 p.m. on Apple Branch Road, Town of Argyle.

●  A deputy responded to Wells Street in Darlington to assist Darlington police with a domestic dispute.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 9:36 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Deputies assisted Belmont police with a disorderly conduct case at 9:45 p.m. on Hazel Street in Belmont.

On July 9:

●  A utility problem was reported at 4:42 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 9:39 a.m. on County H, Town of Benton.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 10:22 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Benton.

●  Deputies responded at 11:27 a.m. to South Varnum Street in South Wayne to check the welfare of a suicidal person with a gun. South Wayne First Response, Green County EMS and Argyle police assisted on scene. All came out OK. No one was hurt.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 4:24 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 5:57 p.m. on Lake Road, Town of Fayette.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 6:35 p.m. on Ames Road, Town of Darlington.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 8:04 p.m. on Kipfer Lane, Town of Argyle.

●  David G. Sunderdance, 21, Platteville, was arrested on charges of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct, battery and criminal damage to property after deputies responded at 11:07 p.m. to Jenkins Lane, Town of Belmont. He was jailed. Belmont and UW-Platteville police and Southwest Health EMS assisted on scene.

On July 10:

●  Deputies responded at 2:18 a.m. to Water Street in Blanchardville for a domestic dispute. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office assisted.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 5:52 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.
