Monroe Police

MONROE — On Aug. 10:

•  Ashley S. Beaton, 32, Monroe, was arrested at 4:29 p.m. in the 1700 block of 17th Street for an outstanding warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Beaton was confined in the Green County Jail.

•  A disturbance complaint was reported at 6:45 p.m. in the 200 block of 4th Avenue. Thomas J. Dunican, 26, Monroe, was arrested for disorderly conduct. Dunican posted the required bond and was released from custody pending a court appearance. 

On Aug. 11:

•  Disorderly conduct was reported at 3:53 a.m. in the 2000 block of 4th Street. Kevin L. Holton, 27, Beloit, was arrested after causing a disturbance in the Monroe Clinic Emergency room. Holton was confined in the Green County Jail.

On Aug. 12:

•  Craig A. Wallace, 37, Monroe, was cited for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, 1st offence, at 3:22 a.m. Wallace was also cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed, resisting/failing to stop/fleeing. Wallace was released pending a court appearance. 

•  Kory R. Costa, 23, Monroe, was arrested at 8:25 p.m. in the 1300 block of 21st Avenue for an outstanding warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Costa was confined in the Green County Jail. 

On Aug. 14:

•  Ashley R. Hauser, 28, Monroe, was arrested in the 1300 block of 17th Street for an outstanding warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Correction. Hauser was confined in the Green County Jail.

•  Dennis E. Carpenter, 25, Monroe, was arrested at 10:58 a.m. for a probation violation at the 1300 block of 17th street. Carpenter was confined in the green County Jail.

On Aug. 15:

n Antwoyn L. Johnson, 46, Monroe, was arrested in the 1000 block of 8th Street on a warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department for failing to appear in court on a previous possession of drug paraphernalia arrest. Johnson was confined in the Green County Jail.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Aug. 10:

•  Sheri A. Reif, 25, Loves Park, Illinois, was arrested for operating under the influence with a passenger under the age of 16. Reif was also cited for speeding, seat belt violation, open intoxicants in a vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating with a prohibited alcohol concentration with a passenger under the age of 16. Reif was held at the Green County Jail pending bond or court.

On Aug. 12: 

•  Deputies contacted a parked vehicle at 3:04 a.m. on the intersection of Wis. 59 and Sylvester Road in Monroe. Investigation resulted in the driver of the vehicle, Drake D. Ingold, 18, Monroe, being cited for possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ingold was released pending a court appearance.

•  Eduin R. Flores Flores, 22, Darlington, was cited for operating without a valid license, (2nd offense within 3 years), and speeding at 8:16 a.m. on the W5300 block of Wis. 11 in Monroe. Flores Flores was released pending court. 

On Aug. 13: 

•  Disorderly conduct was reported at 2:43 p.m. in the N2400 block of County M in the Town of Cadiz. Thomas J. Maas, 34, Argyle, was arrested for disorderly conduct. Maas was transported to the Green County Jail and was released after posting bond.


Albany Police

ALBANY — On Aug. 9:

•  Randal E. Miller, 64, Albany, was cited for burning within 25 feet of a structure.

On Aug. 11:

•  Jeremiah J. Loomis, 24, Beloit, was cited for urinating in public.

On Aug. 12:

•  Corbin G. Hamilton, 26, Albany, was cited for operating after suspension. 


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of Aug. 5 to Aug. 11, the Brodhead Police Department had 17 calls for service, 12 follow up to incidents, 12 vehicle registrations, 42 vehicle assists/community policing, 48 security checks, eight assist other agencies, eight traffic stops, nine 911 calls, one fire call, nine EMS calls and one mental health transport. 

On Aug. 5:

•  A 27-year-old Buffalo Grove, Illinois woman was cited for speeding at 4:10 p.m. in the N300 block of 1st Center Avenue. 

•  A 31-year-old Hoffman Estates, Illinois woman was cited for speeding at 5:01 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st street.

•  A 28-year-old Eagle woman was cited for speeding at 6:12 p.m. in the N300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Aug. 6:  

•  A domestic problem was reported at 2:31 p.m. at the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue. The matter remains under investigation.

•  A dog at large was reported at 3:05 p.m. at the 1200 block of 21st street. The owner was contacted and issued a warning.

On Aug. 7:

•  A man, 18, Janesville, was cited for operating without a valid license, speeding, motor vehicle liability insurance required and child restraint violation at 5:23 p.m. on the 700 block of 23rd street.

•  A man, 34, Albany, was arrested for operating while intoxicated, possession of marijuana and speeding at 8:00 p.m. on the N300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Aug. 9:

n A dog at large was reported at 1:58 p.m. on the 600 block of East 5th Avenue. The owner was contacted and issued a warning.

•  Harassment was reported at 4:22 p.m. on the 1600 block of 20th Street. A subject was receiving unwanted text messages. The matter remains under investigation.

On Aug. 10:

•  A parking complaint was reported at 7:22 a.m. on the 100 block of 4th Street. A vehicle was off the heavy truck route. Contact was made and a warning was issued.

•  Fraud was reported at 11:40 a.m. at 2500 West 5th Avenue. The matter remains under investigation.

•  A gas drive off was reported at 2:09 p.m. at the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Contact was made and the driver returned to pay for the fuel.

•  A hit and run traffic crash was reported at 6:43 p.m. on the 500 block of 1st Center Avenue. The matter remains under investigation.

On Aug. 11:

•  A code violation was reported at 7:02 a.m. on the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. Grass was mowed into the street. Contact was made and a warning was issued.

•  A parking complaint was reported at 8:22 a.m. on the 1100 block of West 5th Avenue. Contact was made and the vehicles were removed. 


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — On Aug. 12:

•  Penny R. Walter, 55, Darlington, was cited at 7:54 a.m. for operating without a valid license following a traffic stop for expired registration on Center Road.

•  Two Darlington children, 11 and 13, were referred to the Lafayette County Juvenile Intake Office at 10:56 a.m. for theft following an investigation into shoplifting at Casey’s General Store on July 27.

•  Georgia Shiu, 18, Gurnee, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 12:50 p.m. on Galena street. 

•  Jeffrey Okazaki, 35, Middleton, was cited for speeding at 1:17 p.m. on Galena Street.


New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS — On Aug. 6:

•  A found temporary Wis. Vehicle plate was reported at 3:25 p.m. in the 400 block of 2nd street. The owner was contacted and notified. 

•  An animal problem was reported at 4 p.m. on the 300 block of 6th Avenue. Rusty J. Kalcheur, 39, New Glarus, was cited for animal wounding another domestic animal. 

•  Chandler J. K. Siegenthaler, 19, New Glarus, was cited for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration and driving a motor vehicle with no insurance at 6:16 p.m. in the 1700 block of 2nd street. 

On Aug. 7:

•  A dead animal on the roadway was reported at 8 a.m. in the 100 block of 4th avenue.

•  A trespassing complaint was reported at 10 a.m. on the 300 block of Elmer road. 

•  Police responded to a welfare check at 11:41 a.m. on the 1100 block of Wis. 69. All parties involved were okay.

•  Police responded to a vehicle unlock at 2:54 p.m. on 6th Avenue and Railroad Street. 

•  Mina A. Schneider, 22, Belleville, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without insurance at 8:59 p.m. on 5th Avenue. 

•  Bobby M. Shaffer, 22, Darlington, was cited for operating with a suspended registration and no seat belt at 11:55 p.m. on 6th Avenue and Durst Road. 

On Aug. 8:

•  Jennifer E. Lewis, 32, New Glarus, was cited for failure to wear seatbelt at 9:47 a.m. at the intersection of 1st street and 14th Avenue.

•  An animal impound was reported at 10:17 a.m. on the 1400 block of 2nd street. A kitten was retrieved and transported to the Green County Humane Society.

•  Police responded to a medical call at 3:15 p.m. on the 600 block of 2nd Avenue. 

•  Suspicious activity was reported at 4:30 p.m. on the 300 block of 2nd Street.

•  Shawn M. Hopkins, 27, Monroe, was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s license and non-registration of a motor vehicle at 6 p.m. on 3rd avenue at 8th street.

•  Suspicious activity was reported at 7:08 p.m. in the library.

On Aug. 9:

•  Fraud was reported at 3:47 p.m. when a fraud check was deposited into an ATM machine.

n Police responded to a vehicle lockout at 10:46 p.m. in the 1400 block of Wis. 69.

On Aug. 10:

•  Vandalism was reported at 12:45 p.m. in the 300 block of 2nd Street. 

•  Megan J. Bollig, 23, Verona, was cited for speeding at 2:54 p.m. in the 600 block of 6th Avenue.

•  Police responded to a 911 misdial at 3:01 p.m. in the 100 block of Valle Tell Drive.

•  New Glarus Police assisted the Green County Sheriff’s Office at 4:20 p.m. with the recovery of a stolen trailer in the W6000 block of Legler Valley Road.

•  Found property was reported at 5:45 p.m. at Cenex. The property was returned to the owner.

•  A dog bite was reported at 6:20 p.m. in the 100 block of 6th avenue. Robyn C. Scott, 36, Mount Prospect, Illinois, was cited for dog assaulting/attacking a person.

On Aug. 11:

•  A found kitten was reported at 10:22 a.m. in the 1400 block of 2nd street. The kitten was transported to the Green County Humane Society.

•  A found cell phone was reported at 11:30 a.m. in the 300 block of 2nd street. The owner was identified and the phone was returned.

On Aug. 12:

•  Police responded to a welfare check at 2:37 a.m. in the Village Park after hours. 

•  Police removed a hazard from the roadway at 12:38 p.m. at 3rd avenue and Heidi Court.

•  Police responded to a 911 misdial at 3:43 p.m. on the 900 block of Glarner Drive.

•  A dead animal in the roadway was reported at 6:32 a.m. in the 1300 block of 1st street.

•  Deputies responded to a residential alarm at 11:25 p.m. on Phillippine Road in Wiota Township. 

On Aug. 11:

•  Julio C. Guevara-Suarez, 25, Darlington, was cited for operating without a valid driver’s license and no valid insurance at 2:30 a.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington township.

•  A deputy encountered a disabled vehicle at 3:23 a.m. on South Mound Avenue in the Village of Belmont.
