Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Omar T. Davis, 34, Madison, was cited for speeding and driving with a revoked license after deputies stopped him for speeding at 2:04 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, in the N7000 block of Wis. 69, Town of Washington.

●  Mark A. Elmer, 44, Browntown, was arrested on a domestic abuse-related charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 1:06 p.m. to a report of a disturbance in the N2400 block of Van Matre Lane, Town of Clarno. He was jailed pending court or posting of bond.


New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS — A burglary at Five Star Cellular, 1305 Wis. 69, was reported at 7:58 p.m. Thursday, April 2. An investigation revealed a landscaping brick was thrown through the front glass door to gain entry. It was a “smash-and-grab” burglary, and the suspects were in and out of the business in less than three minutes. Two masked males wearing hooded sweatshirts entered the business, grabbed the demo Apple iPhones and fled out the same door. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call police at 608-527-2145.

●  Terry L. Watson, 41, New Glarus, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant after deputies stopped him for speeding in the area of Wis. 69 and Gutzmer Road at 2:17 p.m. Sunday, April 5. He was cited for speeding and driving without a valid license. He was held at the jail.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Maurice Nix, 56, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license, no vehicle insurance, failure to keep vehicle under control and unsafe lane deviation at 10:44 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, following a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a tree in the area of East Louisa Street and Division Street.
