On August 23:

● At 4:29 p.m., Deputies responded to the 2800 block of 6th Street, in the City of Monroe, to assist Department of Corrections Agents. Investigation resulted in Sean R. Schmelzer, 37 of Brodhead, being arrested for a Probation Violation. Schmelzer was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

On August 24:

● At 11:33 p.m., Deputies responded to the N2600 block of Hilbrand Lane, in the Town of Sylvester, for a single vehicle crash with no injuries. Investigation revealed a vehicle operated by Timothy I. Broshous, 17 of Warren, was traveling northbound when the vehicle left the roadway and collided with cement debris. Broshous and his passenger advised of no injuries, were wearing their seatbelts, and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

On August 25:

● At 9:48 a.m., Deputies responded to a residence in the N8400 block of County Highway CC, in the Town of Exeter, to assist Department of Corrections agents. Investigation resulted in David J. West, 26 of Belleville, being arrested for a Probation Violation. West was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.

● At 6:04 p.m., Deputies responded to the W9600 block of County Highway Y, in the Town of Jordan, for the report of a two-vehicle crash with no injuries. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Jorianna A. Gerber, 17 of South Wayne, was traveling westbound when she swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway. Gerber then collided with an eastbound vehicle operated by Greg A. Obel, 52 of Browntown. Both operators advised of no injuries and were wearing their seatbelts. Gerber’s vehicle sustained disabling damage, airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene. Obel’s vehicle sustained no damage and was driven from the scene.
