On March 25:
● At 11:42 p.m., while in patrol in the 1100 block of 1st Center Ave., in the City of Brodhead, Deputies made contact with Adrian M. Heydn, 31, of Brooklyn. Heydn was later placed under arrest for a Probation Violation. Heydn was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
On March 26:
● At 10:41 p.m., Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding in the W5400 block of STH 11, in the Town of Monroe. The investigation resulted in the driver, Terry C. Profit, 24, of Cedar Rapids, being cited for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Profit was additionally warned for speeding. Profit was released pending a future court date.
On March 29:
● At 10:19 a.m., Deputies responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of CTH M and CTH B, in the Town of Cadiz. The investigation revealed that Cynthia K. Nipple, age 67 of South Wayne, was traveling east on CTH B and Esteban Dominguez Barreto, age 46 of Beloit, was traveling south on CTH M. Cynthia turned north onto CTH M into the southbound lane and collided head-on with Esteban’s vehicle Cynthia, Esteban, and Esteban’s passenger all reported wearing their seatbelts and were not injured in the collision. Both vehicles sustained disabling front end damage. Cynthia’s vehicle was removed by Accurate Towing. Esteban’s vehicle was removed by private party.Cynthia was cited for improper left turn and Esteban was cited for operating w/o a valid license. Both were released pending court.
On March 30:
● At 3:38 p.m., Green County Deputies, Brodhead Police, Rock County Deputies, Brodhead First Response, and Brodhead EMS, responded to a two-vehicle collision on STH 81 at CTH T, in the Town of Spring Grove. The investigation revealed that Robert D. Zimmerman, age 21 of Platteville, was traveling east on STH 81, when a vehicle operated by Helgar A. Moreno Palma, age 37 of Fond du Lac, failed to yield the right of way. The front of Robert’s vehicle collided with the rear of Helgar’s vehicle.Robert reported wearing his seatbelt and was transported for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision. Helgar and his passengers reported wearing their seatbelts and were not injured. Robert’s vehicle sustained disabling damage; multiple airbags deployed. Robert’s vehicle was removed from the scene by Arn’s Towing. Helgar’s vehicle sustained disabling damage; there was no airbag deployment. Helgar’s vehicle was removed from the scene by Don’s Towing. Helgar was cited for failure-to-yield the right of way, operating without a valid license, operating with suspended registration, and no insurance. Heglar was released pending court.
On March 31:
● At approximately 4:26 PM, Deputies responded to the W3900 block of Theiler Rd, Town of Jefferson, for a report of a suspicious person. Investigations resulted in Nathan F Lane, 19, being arrested for an active warrant. Lane was incarcerated at the Green County Jail.
On April 2:
● At 2:41 a.m., Deputies along with Green County EMS and Juda Fire Department responded to the W3900 block of Wis. 11, in the Town of Sylvester, for a single vehicle roll over crash. Investigation revealed that a vehicle operated by Diane M. Hilby, 64 of Rockford, was traveling eastbound when the vehicle lost control due to the snowy road conditions. The vehicle then entered the south ditch and overturned. Hilby sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Passengers in the vehicle reported no injuries. Hilby and her passengers reported wearing their seatbelts and the airbags did not deploy. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
