MONROE - In a meeting Tuesday, the City of Monroe Salary & Personnel Committee:
• Denied a change to the resignation date of Kathi Meier, Recreation Department secretary, in order to stay on payroll and continue to work in the department and assist as needed. The committee directed Marge Klinzing, recreation supervisor, to hire Meier as an independent contractor to complete the employee training on computer programs.
