MONROE - A Monroe area farm has been selected as the site of the 2009 Green County Dairy Breakfast.
The breakfast, scheduled for Saturday, May 30, will be at the Brugger Dairy, LLC, farm hosted by Brian, Teresa, Dave and Barb Brugger and their families. The farm is located outside Monroe at N4611 Rechsteiner Road. The Green County Ag Chest announced the site selection in a news release Monday.
Breakfast will begin at 6 a.m. with scrambled eggs, sausage, cheese, coffee cake and strawberry sundaes. There also will be a petting zoo, arts and crafts and live entertainment.
A meeting for people and organizations seeking to volunteer at the event will be at 7 p.m. March 16 at the Brugger Farm.
