Brodhead accident victim not identified

MONROE — The medical examiner’s office in Rock County on Monday had yet to release the name of a Brodhead man killed in a one-car, rollover crash last Friday.

According to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, the 54-year-old man was driving eastbound on W North Townline Road, just east of County T in the Town of Avon, just before 6 p.m. Friday, when he lost control of his vehicle.  

His car then left the road and rolled over multiple times, ending up in the south ditch along the road. The victim was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled.

According to police, EMS quickly responded, he was transported to the hospital and later died at the Mercy Trauma Center in Janesville.

The crash remains under investigation. Brodhead Police and EMS also responded at the scene, the statement said.
