MONDAY, AUG. 4>

The Lafayette County Commission on Aging Board of Directors >will hold a special meeting at 3:30 p.m. in the job center conference room. Agenda items include consideration of the 2009 county plan amendments.

The City of Monroe Board of Public Works >will meet at 4:30 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include recommendation to Council to accept bids and award a contract for city hall boiler replacement.

The City of Monroe Public Safety Committee >will meet at 5 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include discussion and possible recommendation to Council to approve a pedestrian crossing mid-block in the 1200 block of 14th Avenue.

The Monroe Main Street Design Committee >will meet at 5:30 p.m. at Cafe Claudeen. Agenda items include a 10th Street exit to the bike trail.

The City of Monroe Airport Board of Management >will meet at 5:45 p.m. at City Hall. Agenda items include reviewing the application and possibly approve a license for Landmark Cooperative to perform cropdusting.

The City of Monroe Judiciary and Ordinance Review Committee >will meet at 6 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include discussing and possibly taking action regarding a change to the ordinance regarding the combined total number of Class A and Class B intoxicating liquor and fermented malt beverages license.

The Village of Blanchardville License and Finance Committee >will meet at 6 p.m. at village hall. The Blanchardville Village Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. at village hall.

The Village of Albany Street and Utility Committee >will meet at 6:30 p.m. at village hall. Agenda items include repair of North and South Water Street.

The School District of Argyle >will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the high school library. Agenda items include a closed session to discuss/negotiate compensation and benefits with a district administrator candidate.

TUESDAY, AUG. 5>

The City of Monroe Salary & Personnel Committee >will meet at 6 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include discuss and possibly approve policy changes: Department Heads terminating probationary periods for new employees and starting process to hire replacement employees, without committee approval.

The City of Monroe Finance and Taxation Committee >will meet at 6:20 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include discuss and recommend to Council to authorize proceeding with borrowing from Wisconsin Trust Fund Loan Program to pay off unfunded retirement liability.

The City of Monroe License Committee >will meet at 6:40 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include review and recommend to Council to approve Class "B" Restaurant Fermented Malt Beverage and Class "C" Wine license for Barrett's Brick Cafe, LLC.

The City of Monroe Common Council >will meet at 7:30 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include a public hearing on neighborhood electric vehicles and a public hearing on a resolution designating Downtown Historic District, approving the plan and directing implementation.

The Darlington Community School District Board of Education >will meet at 8 p.m. at the elementary/middle school. Agenda items include a review of the 2008-2009 budget and review of various student fees to determine if there should be increases in fees.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 6>

The Housing Authority for the City of Monroe >will meet at 4 p.m. at Churchill Woods Apts., 800 13th Ave. Agenda items include revised revolution #228 - Statement of Personnel Policies.

THURSDAY, AUG. 7>

The Monticello School District Policy Committee >will meet in the district office. Agenda items include a review of proposed policy revisions.
