The Monroe Main Street Organization Committee will meet at 12:30 p.m. on the second floor of Wisconsin Community Bank. Agenda items include planning for the fund drive.

The Monroe Main Street Promotion Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. at Turner Hall.

The Monroe Fire Department and MERIT Center will host a demonstration and activities presentation at 7:30 p.m. at the Monroe Business and Industry Park.

The Sylvester Board of Review will meet at 7:30 p.m. at town hall.

Wednesday, July 23

The Village of New Glarus Informal Administrative Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. at village hall.

The City of Monroe Zoning Board of Appeals will meet at 5 p.m. at city hall.

The Village of New Glarus Storm Water Utility Task Force will meet at 6 p.m. at village hall.

The School District of Juda Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. in the district office in the high school. Agenda items include consideration of 2008-2009 student fees.

The Monticello School District Board of Education will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the high school band room. Agenda items include a request for proposal for a van.

Thursday, July 24

The Town of Monroe will hold an open book session from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 7:30 p.m. at town hall. The 2008 tax roll will be available for inspection and personnel from the Assessors Office will be available to answer questions.

Wednesday, July 30

The Green County Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. in Yodel Hall at the Government Services Building, N3150 Wis. 81. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a variance from Maple Leaf Cheese Co-op for an existing storage shed in the setback area of the ordinarily high water mark of a stream 64.8 feet vs. county code minimum of 75 feet on industrial zoned land located at N890 Twin Groves Road, Town of Jefferson.

Thursday, July 31

The Town of Monroe Board of Review will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at town hall. The clerk must be notified of intent to file an objection, or the forms returned, 48 hours prior to the meeting.
