The Young Professionals of Green County spent Thursday evening, April 29, celebrating the rich agricultural heritage in Green County with a recognition event at Kuhn North America in Brodhead. Dustin Williams, an Agribusiness and Farm Management instructor at Blackhawk Technical College was recognized as the 2010 Outstanding Young Professional of the Year.
Williams is active in the community serving the Morning Optimist Club, Green County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, and Green County Ag in the Classroom Committee.
The 2010 Outstanding Young Professional of the Year award was sponsored by Kuhn North America, Jeremy Pinnow and Associates, Inc., Juda Grain, Inc., and the Bank of Brodhead. "The event is an opportunity to showcase the exemplary accomplishments and service of young professionals in Green County" says Tory Tullis-Zettle, of The Swiss Colony, Inc who is a founding member and serves as treasurer for the organization.
Young Professionals of Green County was founded in 2007 with the first Outstanding Young Professional of the Year Award that was given to Charlie Baumann, of The Swiss Colony, Inc.
