Wedding: Mitchell-Stamm

Annie Mitchell, daughter of Kenny and SanDee Mitchell, Dakota, Ill., and Blaine Stamm, son of Jeff and Connie Stamm, Lena, were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 at New Life Bible Church in Pecatonica, Ill., with Pastor Tom Spickler officiating.

The bride wore an A-line fitted gown, delicately beaded with crystals and lace and held a cascading bouquet of white roses, dahlias, Gerber daises and lilies.

Matron of honor was Bri Friedrichs, Sterling, Ill. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Mitchell, Dakota, Ill.; Carrie Jones, Platteville; and Hannah Nicholas, Pecatonica, Ill. Bridesmaids wore full-length platinum one-shoulder gowns accented with crystals and held red roses, deep violet dahlias and red Gerber daisies.

The flower girl was Charlie Larson, Dodgeville.

Best man was Chris Fahr, Winslow. Groomsmen were Dan Jones, Platteville; Matt Mitchell, Dakota; and Chris Labudde, Dakota. The ring bearer was Jacob Mitchell, Dakota.

Ushers were Jared Friedrichs, Sterling, Ill.; Jestin Nesemeyer, Freeport; and Tim Wilson, Dakota, Ill.

The reception was held at Cliffbreakers Riverside Resort, Rockford, Ill;, and the honeymoon trip was a seven-day cruise in the eastern Caribbean.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Dakota High School. In 2006, she graduated from Highland Community College with a License of Cosmetology and in 2010 with an Associate Degree of Nursing. She is currently employed by Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County, Darlington, as a registered nurse.

The groom is a 1999 graduate of Lena High School. In 2001, he graduated from Madison Area Technical College with a degree in diesel mechanics. He is currently employed at Stamm Farm Systems, Lena.

The couple will live in Lena.
