MONROE - The National Historic Cheesemaking Center/Green County Welcome Center is hosting a volunteer orientation session at 4 p.m. today for any area citizens interested in volunteering at the center.
Volunteers will spend a few hours per month from May 1 to Oct. 31, welcoming visitors and providing information and directions from all 50 states and international guests from many foreign countries.
The National Historic Cheesemaking Center is located at the corner of Wisconsin 69 and 21st Street.
All returning volunteers are urged to attend the orientation and bring a friend that might be interested in volunteering. Membership in the National Historic Cheesemaking Center is not required.
