MONROE - Employees at TDS Telecommunications Corp. presented a check for $1,425 and several boxes of food to Green Cares on Nov. 27.
"We wanted to give back, to help others in the community," said Melissa DiTulio, customer service administrator for TDS, Monroe. "Hosting a collection drive for Green Cares was a great way to get everyone involved. And, it feels great to deliver food and a cash donation to help them support so many in the Monroe area."
This is the third year TDS employees collected donations and food for Green Cares. In addition to supporting Green Cares, TDS regularly donates goods, services, and funds, along with countless volunteer hours, to area charities throughout the year.
